Is it worth grinding upgrades for Fatebringer post DLC?
Just did the VoG hard and got Fatebringer. Now it's at max of 300 damage, I don't want to waste glimmer and mats on a pre DLC gun if I can find something better, thoughts?

Dude the only thing a 300 won't be the best choise is for hard crota's end all the other things max at 30 at which this gun will rock with those awesome perks and arc damage

Yes, fatebringer is still one of the best guns in the game for crowd control, plus it's an arc primary.

All the old guns, especially the raid weapons, can still do a job.

Fatebringer is still one of the best guns in the game. I'd argue a large number of people use it effectively in the new raid and most content in general. Oh and arc burn nightfall.. Forgettaboutit

1 ReplyYes. Yes. Yes. If all you use it for is arc burn nightfalls then it's still worth it. Just to give you an idea when I ran that as my primary during the omingul arc burn strike... Everyone else under 100 kills. Me - over 230 kills. If you don't believe me I can find the game and show you lol.

I never touched hand cannons until I got fatebringer. I now use nothing else - it is permanently my primary!

Max it. 31dmg doesn't matter thanks to arc damage and awesome perks.

I am, and so far yes. The new guns have very little going for them other than increased attack imo.
