You could also say that about legendaries and rares. So what then? We have people running around in whites and greens?

You can't say that about legendaries your an equip as many as you want. So there no worrying about what you can use. Exotcis can only be one so if you want a primary you can't use a special or heavy. So you can't say that. They are not even close to the same thing

So if it's so unique and rare, why does everyone have multiple legendaries? Exotics on the other hand in some cases are so bad that it's extremely rare to see anyone using them. Bad juju anyone?

Becsue you can get multiple legendaries and legendary does not mean it is extremely rare. You don't get them all the time and you have to save a bunch of marks to even buy them. You can also have many on at a time. They are not the same thing. Exotics are not suppose to be rare the are to make you think about your loadout and play style and what you want yo use and how to use it. That is why you can only have ONE. Legendaries are rare and. You can have as many as you want.
