So to Warlocks: Sunsinger or Void walker?
So yeah what do you Warlocks prefer and why?

Sunsinger on nightfalls and whatnot. Voidwalker for everything else. Unless I'm playing alone.

Voidwalker. Sunsingers only superior thing is the self res ability, so if you are doing nightfall/hard Vog where you really want to avoid dying you can use sunsinger but other than that Voidwalker

I use both, because why be a fool and lock myself into one class so I can have pretend pride by saying I don't use Rez. I have armor and setups ready to go for both subclasses.

Sunsinger. Voidwalker is a nice change of pace every now and then, but I really don't like any of the benefits or the looks of the armor for Voidwalkers (aside from Obsidian Mind, but that's literally just the old Vanguard Helmet made black). I just love being able to get a shield from melee vs health regen, and two grenades (three if you have Starfire Protocol) and spamming grenades is just so much fun and so much damage.

5 RepliesI would say Voidwalker is far superior, unless you die a ton, which is why the Sunsinger self resurrect crutch exists for scrubs like that.

Solar if you tend to die many times and need a self res. void when you have skill and know how to execute

Voidwalker for pvp. The vortex super(not lance forget the name for it) can blow up a titan bubble and kill everything inside. Sunsinger for areas you can't die in

Then if you got down even once they would complain about having to revive you cuz we've spoiled them and the -blam!-ers aren't used to having to revive warlocks

Edited by Bladescorpion: 12/26/2014 8:55:05 PMPersonal preference. In PVE if 3 warlocks - 2 sun, 1 void. 2 of 3 use supers for dps, while one is revive insurance. If nightfall, all 3 sun. Pvp void if you have obsidian. Sun singer of praxic Fire.

I like being a sunsinger and spamming grenades, but I only use Fireborn in the raids and nightfalls.

If it's Nightfall, Sunsinger. Self-revive is too damn useful to ignore. But for the Normal Vault, or strikes, I love Voidwalker. Bloom + Vortex = obliteration. Especially in the Oracle phase of the Vault. The Templar summons its Legions! Oh wait, they're all dead.

I use void for PvP and sun for PvE. I will however use void as an exception in VoG.

I normally use voidwalker in pvp but I've been liking using fusion grenades in pvp from the sunsinger but voidwalker is much better for pvp and sunsinger is for pve
