Crota only drops mats now
Hey fellow Guardians. I wanted to get a census going to see how many ppl are getting 2 mats only from crota. Every since they updated the drop table this has been happening. Now i know your not supposed to get something great everytime i get that. But I am up to 4 times in a row now only getting 2 mats from him. This didn't even happen with atheon's crappy loot table. You guys think something got messed up with the update? His drop table is the only thing that got updated and after 4 times of this 2 mat crap is starting to look fishy. Anybody else getting screwed like this?
Update: Thank you all for sharing your loot. I understand how RNG works and there is good weeks and bad weeks. Just wanted to make sure after 4x 2 mats that there wasn't an issue here. Happy looting and Merry Christmas!

I get 2 shards only from him a lot also. I also only got one armor drop across all 3 characters last/this week. It happens.

2 RepliesOddly, I haven't had any problems with him. Yet. In only one run, when we kille crouton, sorry, crota, I got the armor shader, black hammer, the emblem and two energies, I think. I may have only one run under my belt, but I expect good things to come from crouton, ugh, sorry, crota.

Two weeks in a row. Three different characters each week. Cheese last week. No cheese this week. All radiant materials. No helmet or weapons. Ugh.

I've completed the raid start to finish between 6 and 9 times now across three warlocks. I'm set for boots/gloves/chest, but I've only gotten 2x shotguns and 1x HMG out of Crota. When it's going to give you even less loot than VoG while being more difficult... Kind of makes cheesing it seem like the right thing to do.

I beat crota and got the helm for my lock and shards, beat him again with my titan and got LOTA fusion rifle and shards, beat him AGAIN with my hunter and got black hammer(2nd) and energies

5 RepliesMy Last run i got the Light of Abyss fusion rifle and 2 shards, time before that 2 shards only. So far i have had boots x3 arms x4! For those who have the raid Chest/Helmet do you only get these on the Crota part? I'm am guessing after the patch the helmet only drops on Crota as opposed to not at all like in the early days.

I've gotten 3 Radiant Energy from defeating Crota the last two weeks....meanwhile everyone in my fire team received either weapons or armor. That's just the way it is when you are playing an RNG dependent game. I'm sure my time will come. I should delete one of my Atls and create another Hunter. But I like having all three classes (That I never use LOL) *Sigh

I beat crota on all three characters this week and RNG was on my side. I got the shader, emblem, shotgun and shards with my warlock. With my titan I got the machine gun and shards and on my other titan I got the shader, emblem, shards, raid helmet and the sniper.

This week I got the heavy machine gun with one character and two shards with another. A guy in our fireteam got raid weapons and an exotic from him on one run. I did think raid weapon or armour was supposed to be guaranteed from killing Crota?
