Booted a guy who wanted to cheese
So me and my group were about to do the raid but our 6th wasn't able to make it. So we took to destinylfg to find soneone. We invite this guy and the first thing he says is "so we're cheesing the bridge and crota right?". My buddy says "no you (bundle of sticks)" and we kick him. Went on to clear the raid legit in less than an hour.
Seriously cheesing the bosses is so lame and boring. The raid isn't even fun when you cheese the fights. Isnt that the reason we play the game? To have fun? The raid isn't even hard in the first place. Why do you bundles of sticks want to cheese everything?
Edit: just to clarify for the people saying he was just asking, the dude was insistent on cheesing.

Well, I would agree, point of the game is to have fun. The only fallacy to your logic is, you assume your definition of "fun" is the only definition and applies to everybody. Perhaps some find it challenging to discover and expose poor game design by uncovering and exploiting cheese opportunities

7 RepliesBecause the raid sucks and cheese is faster. Seriously, Crota's End is a failure of a raid. Not one single part of the raid requires more than one person to complete, even without cheese. Cheesing feels dirty to me, especially on Crota; however, last night I did the raid with a buddy that just hit 32 and watched him lay the smack down on Crota. Compared to having a 31 use the sword it was ridiculous. Our timing was slightly off but by the end of the second sword you could have killed Crota by spitting on him. It's no wonder people cheese it. This raid is not about guns, timing, skills, or build. It's all about that level number. It's like you are suppose to breeze through the raid up to Crota each week and then poop all over him once you get to 32. All the armor you need drops elsewhere. The Vault is one hundred times better and dependent on team work.

1 ReplySeems like this problem could be solved by posting that you are doing 'X' and not cheesing. By posting what you are looking for and/or discussing ahead of time with potential fill-ins, you can find the person you need. No need to be an ass about it.

I agree with you, people who cheese are stupid. This week I joined a team for crota and we killed him first try legit. In all honesty crotas end is so -blam!-ing easy that you shouldn't need to cheese.

Seeing I remake the titan class about 6-7 times per reset I like to cheese bridge just to finish faster but Crota is easier then shit.
