Now a ton of unskilled players are cheesing their way through the raid, bungie feel free to acknowledge and fix these issues.
Just enjoy it and don't worry about the time it takes to complete it.

Edited by Silly Sod: 12/22/2014 10:52:31 PMNow only Iron Banner Embems wil be credible - you can't go AFK or cheese that for 20hrs. You can maybe get lucky and tag along on a winning team but my experience it that you gotta drag your team into a winning position and keep them there - weapons are not really a winning factor. Watched Crota strike on you tube and it looks pretty hard for a first time play through. So well done for no cheese completion provided your (grammar police - Fcuk you) not one of those annoying players that run strikes. Next week it will be fashionable for noobs to run/cheese the missions. Really what's the point. I used to use cheats on PC games - but to actually enjoy and complete the game I paid for as there was no alternative. Ever tried completing System Shock 2 without occasional god mode? With Destiny there is no real need as there is no next level to see and play.

I remember beating Crota first week. It was cool getting congratulated, felt super special. But IDC if people cheese that's on them, it's nowhere near as fun. So they are ruining their own experience.

1 ReplyEdited by MarcusCarcus: 12/22/2014 10:31:12 PMUsed to mean something when? Like a whole week ago?
-
Yeah, I'm kinda bummed it really was the only way you knew if someone completed the raid the right way that first week. Now it's just another cool emblem.
-
Damn, man... I just got done commenting on another thread about how there is way too many threads about cheesing... xD
-
I refuse to cheese, takes the fun out of the game Especially when crota is already really easy to beat. Did it three times this week and last week legit without any problems
-
SHUT THE -blam!- UP AND GET OVER IT YOU -blam!-ING CRYBABY NUTSACK
-
Why would you be proud of beating the easiest raid?
-
6 RepliesI've beaten it five times legit, and no emblem.
-
1 ReplyThe fight is easy. Dont see the point in cheesing. That being said, if some one wants to cheese it, I have no complaints. He/she paid $60 and has every right to "have fun" the way they want to.
-
It never meant anything. It's an emblem in a video game calm yourself
-
Edited by GANTZ: 12/22/2014 9:14:26 PMmost my friends had that emblem set , before the cheese was even discovered , to me it ment being too mainstream ;) oh and i remember those LFG posts "only people with emblem can join" , they must had OP's mindset , serves them right for judging people by crota emblems lol
-
2 RepliesWho cares...seriously..I have enough going on in my life that I could care less how another person got an emblem in a video game. Is this what you spend your time thinking about? I wish I had that much free time. Whether it was cheesed or not, in the end, almost everyone will have that emblem. That emblem, from the beginning, meant nothing, except to the first team who completed it, after that...it really didn't mean anything
-
Once they fix it in a month or two we shud get new shaders and emblems.
-
The emblem is for scrubs anyway, but seriously, that emblem is for the unfashionable. It's not fabulous, and it's not really unique. That's why I don't wear mine. Now, I've done Crota's End about say 6 times now. The raid has glitched every single time. I can't really judge glitch abusers tbh.
-
I'm really not too judgemental about people that cheese Crota, however having said that I do hope Bungie patch this. Just don't stress about it dude it's just a game.
-
5 RepliesI legitimately feel sorry for people who find pride in video games.
-
10 RepliesQuit acting like you're some kind of veteran who has done something difficult. You sit on your couch mashing buttons in sequence with lights on your TV while eating cheesy poofs and drinking Mountain Dew. Nothing in any video game "means something". It's just entertainment. Go outside. Go engage in something more substantial.
-
Edited by bmxmaaster: 12/22/2014 9:29:46 PMI got the emblem the week the raid came out. I'm not risking getting banned for cheering Crota.
-
Lol it's an emblem you get for finishing the raid... If there was a VoG emblem it would have 0 significance by now... Expecting the Crota's End emblem to hold it's worth in prestigiousness, you were delusional from the start
-
1 ReplyThe raid has been live 13 days. The emblem never had time to mean anything other than you purchased all level 31 vendor gear and a few people on your team own Gjallarhorn.
-
1 ReplyHow does that affect you ? Besides Bungie won't patch it. It's good for their numbers After the break they'll post that 2 million people have beaten crota and smile to themselves
-
I did it legitimately when it first came out. Generally when there's an easier alternative the masses will do it. It's all preference, I have fun doing it either way, goal accomplished.
-
Dont cry so hard its a game
-
Kinda...if you check your achievements/trophies you'll find that most of the Destiny population hasn't even completed a raid.
