Haven't played Destiny in 2 months. Anything new?
Has the game gotten better by any means or worse? How is the new DLC and all?

1 Reply-new armor -new bounties (and more space to store) -new economies -new weapons -improvements to exotics -improved Iron Banner -DLC missions and Strikes are the most intense yet (ok this one is opinion but I truly believe it) If you've been gone, come on back, take it for a whirl.

They got rid of the material exchange, so if you ever open a chest in patrols, and don't have a million items to upgrade, all you end up doing is hoarding them which use up your limited 15 slots for char inventory, as well as new commendations, which also use up the limited 15 inventory slots.

Now that anyone can be level 31, it really makes finding good PUG for raids quite difficult.

1 ReplyAll you guys make destiny sound so terrible. Your the ones who probably have put 100's of hours in to it too. Any game that makes you put days of play time into I think is a pretty good game. I know I feel I've got my money's worth. At least Worth 60$ which is the same as a dinner for me and my wife.

I quit too and played for the expansion. Quit an hour later. Id say no. Nothing new

The DLC didn't feel like a significant expansion either. Barely any new areas except a few new rooms and a few higher level missions.

1 ReplyIf you didn't purchase the expansion pass, or one of the special editions, I wouldn't buy it unless you're the type of player who does PvE, PvP and Raids. The raid is cool the first few times, the missions are fairly entertaining, and the new MP maps are pretty different from the first round. The new economies are a bit janky, and the grind is realer than ever, but the new content is fun, if thin.
