Face it Eidolon Ally/Necrosarcasm are bad
My honest opinion about that thing is... it's horrible...
man it hurts me to say this but those stats, perks and the low mag is the problem of the gun and i don't think the necro is anything better.
I mean this gun is supposed to be the better vex and yet i dont think it comes near to that.
They should buff it or change some perks
I dont think the last stage of eidolon ally (necroshasm) is anything better... the only perk thats gonna join is the explode buff on kill but it's no good when you can't kill something
The vex was more unique... and her stats are awesome
I rly love the look and feel but be honest... its shit right now and there are better weapons out there
Whats your opinion ?
Rework ? Change it ? Buff it ?

1 ReplyI think I know why the necrochasm is so bad, I believe that this exotic was developed before the game was released like most of the current dlc was and some of the HoW dlc therefore Bungee thought this archetype of auto rifles would be dominant in the game since they are similar to smg's which have been very popular in other fps's.

I'm not a big auto guy, but it's a fun gun. More importantly is the challenge to do CE on hard. Lol, I've yet to do it on normal. Looking forward to that last stage of the quest. Whether it sucks or not is secondary to the pursuit to me.

4 RepliesI was watching gothalion stream today and he mentioned something interesting. He thinks bungie intentionally released the gun as a piece of shit to see how the community suggests fixing it. Rather than releasing it super strong and have everyone cry for a nerf then people who have it cry about it getting nerfed. It's a lot easier to buff than it is to nerf.

My theory is it's under powered intentionally. With the Vex everyone complained how powerful it was, then complained some more when they nerfed it because of the power loss. By starting under powered any changes will (should) be a plus, even if they don't get it "there" the first try.

Back in the vault. This gun needs a huge mag and persistence. That is my suggestion. 70 rounds with slightly more impact than it has now. Stability is ok imo.

I really dont passing judgment on weapons i haven't used yet i think its ok a auto rifle with firefly i rather it had my shadow price stats but hey all the new AR are trash

I have the Eidolon Ally, pretty bad in PvE but what I noticed, you through Aggressive ballistics now you have a much higher impact but same rate of fire.. So it effectively becomes a SMG and its not half bad.

I have the e.ally maxed. I ONLY use it on hive. Since the husk says something about feeding it with hive kills, I assumed it was a hive kill weapon. To be honest I do seem to see a little difference all be it very very slight. Best thing they can do to make this weapon even somewhat valuable besides what it already has as nechrocasim. ... 1. If it is in fact a hive weapon as I suggest above then make it do more damage against all hive. 2. And for the love of rngesus.... raise the impact.
