10 Hive Kills with Arc Blade?!?
Eris has a bounty today to "Rapidly Kill 10 Hive with Arc Blade." Even with Mask of the Third Man 10 kills seems a little steep.
Suggestions?
Edit: K thanks for all the helpful suggestions! Got it 6 hours ago so we can stop now. I've always had Bladedancer built around invisibility and had never tried the AoE, shockwave, or Hungering Blade. That's why 10 kills seemed like a lot.

7 RepliesThe easiest most simple way is load up the fist of crota dlc mission on earth. Use sparrow past enemies. Kill blade of crota on way in the second room for your blade of crota kills if need. Or you can just run past him. You'll turn the corner going into a little hallway, about 5 thrall there (don't kill anything just yet), run over to the two hive knights. Right there active your arc blade and just go crazy.

Use Mask of Third Man and also the Perk that adds super energy from Kills with Arc Blade it is the top perk on the last tree. Then find a mission with a lot of hive enemies. Dark Beyond is probably the easiest, but Warmind and Fist of Crota will also work.

Fist of Crota is probably the best mission to farm most of the Eris bounties.

1 ReplyFirst mission on the moon when all the thralls come out. Use mask of the third man if you have it and set your R2 to [b]Showstopper[/b]. Let yourself get crowded by thralls and press R2. Easily 10 right there.

Mask of third man, the perk which gives extra super energy when killing (don't know the name, top perk of the last row, above the one with invis while crouching). Then load the first mission on the moon where you encounter the dead guardian, I always have a save point here because I use this mission for the "kill 2 enemies at once with a fusion rifle, 20 times" bounty. When the gate opens just have a blast...

I think rasputins mission is better, when all the thrall rush down the stairs, that's how I got my 8 with a nova bomb bounty done

"We've woken the hive" mission with the arc wave things on. It's the easiest way I have found.

Activate super and watch everything disintegrate ;) Step 6. After you kill everything in that first wave you still have 1/2 your super left then dance in celebration of how damn easy you just realized this bounty really is and hope you get it every single day:) DISCLAMIER!!: *Remaining super energy for glowing blue dance time may vary*

Did mine on The Dark Beyond mission on Moon. When those doors open up, run in and use the AoE Arc blade attack. Done.
