Warlocks are Useless.
I decided to take a break from my Hunter and create a Warlock. Seemed pretty cool at the start. Got him to level 27 and here are my complaints:
-The Sunsinger class is a complete JOKE with the absolute worst supers in the game: the ridiculous "self res" hack super and the lame grenade regen super.
-The Void class is also terrible, with the exception of the nova super which wrecks in PVP (pretty useless in PVE)
-The agility is atrocious, and the "glide" is horrendous in both PVP and PVE. It's great if you like being a bright, suspended target for like 10 seconds. NOTHING beats the agility and mobility of a Hunter.
-The armor stat is way too low
Haven't tried Titans, but they have great team supers. Hunters *and titans* master races.
Warlocks, your tears are delicious.

Warlock was my first, then Titan. Just made a Hunter like 3 weeks ago. Still not really a fan of the Hunter as I prefer my warlock over all

I created a warlock because I didn't want a Titan or a 3rd Hunter. I gotta say that I definitely would prefer my Hunters over a warlock just because I come across certain situations that a hunter could easily get out of.

2 RepliesUnfortunately I would have to disagree on sunsinger not being OP. In PVP with my current setup on my 31 warlock I'm virtually indestructible once I have my super. my discipline and strength are both nearly 100% with intellect zero, however GOD FORBID I become super charged. The exotic gauntlets I'm wearing provide me with 2 scorch punches and an over shield that instantly recharge and endless dual grenades (fire bolt grenades OP). Increased duration of super ability. Increased melee speed. Yeah I gotta say its not even fair. The only way to stop me is from long range (GOD FORBID YOUR WHOLE TEAM IS AROUND ME WHEN I SELF REVIVE) or with another super. Plus PVE wise I spit out at least 12 orbs at a time (not to mention the random 2 as an ability). The most I've done is 21 orbs on 1 super. Sorry but I love me warlock And Voidwalker is ok, not nearly as awesome. More like a "one hit wonder"

playing warlock in destiny is like playing on easy mode and playing as a hunter is like hardcore super insane hard so hunter players are >>> warlock players.

Self revive, while useful, is not all the sunsinger has to offer. Radiant skin is very powerful and temporarily turned me into the greatest tank in the game. An example of this was when my friends- a Titan and a hunter- both died in the same place in the nightfall, I was able to activate my super and survive the hammering of two captains, two vandals, four dregs and a shank to revive both my friends and get out. Secondly, the sunsinger super has the highest dps out of any super if used correctly. I like to use fusion grenades on a boss to floor them with massive amounts of damage. Next, the voidwalker. The voidwalker is a guerrilla assault class so you run in, lob a bomb and run. It isn't designed to be tanky. The super is great in all it's forms too. The vortex bomb controls enemy movement or blocks off an entrance temporarily. Shatter (my fave) deals three times the damage at close range. Lance is for when it's too dangerous to get close. The grenades are kinda meh but soften targets well. The super can also be used in PVE effectively, but it is best used to clear out adds. The jump isn't the best, but think about it more like it carries your current momentum. If you're going up, glide takes you further up. Down? Controlled descent. However, focused burst makes it a bit more Titan like. Blink is my favourite for the voidwalker once you get used to it. Finally, tankiness. Voidwalker isn't meant to be tanky. It's meant to be more like a hunter. Sunsinger, however, can reach similar levels of tankiness as the Titan with near maxed armour and a scorch shield. Combine that with radiant skin and you've got yourself a walking concrete wall. Tl;dr: warlocks are awesome if you use them right. They aren't all about self res. shatter nova bomb is the best IMO.

My grimoire score is at 2565. I have all three classes at least to 29. My warlock is 31 and happens to have the highest damage output in pvp AND pve of any of the classes. Hunters and titans are also good but nothing stacks against the lock, save all for skill.

Main a warlock but I love my titan. Make one you won't regret it. That being said don't knock warlock until you master it. You can actually be a very effective tank with Sun singer or ungodly damage void walker. As for glide its better to focus your jumps to burst quickly through the air. I can clear Pvp maps very fast to nova bomb unsuspecting enemies. Or helps against melee enemies to chuck grenades and recover hp while solar or void trashes em

Warlocks' Sunslinger - self revives are nice in Raids and such but yeah Titans and Hunters def way better in PvP. So a titan can smack me and kill me, slide and kill me, drop and kill me. Meanwhile I can be in a super and try to melee him and just hurt him...........? I would think a "Warlock" could do something a lil more. Also if I stick a titan (Super or not) and he goes into his Titan slam from above it does almost no damage?!!?! WTF!?!? A hunter can dance around go invisible 9 billion different ways. But i can smack him and if he is hurt prior AND my melee is charged I will kill him....... I guess warlocks are there to be assist masters............ I dunno just ranting at this point. And when i self revive it still counts as a death....... so its not that great BUNGIE TESTERS......... seriously......... U MUST LOVE TITANS AND HUNTERS ***** YOU *****, not sure. Oh and lets not forget the self revive animation. Please by all means lets give the enemy that just killed me time to point and aim at my face...... dumb dumb dumb. With a golden gun... dumb dumb dumb........... BECAUSE IM A SITTING DUCK....... dumb dumb dumb......... In conclusion please everyone enjoy killing me while i can only throw skittles at you and self revive so you can kill me again almost instantly. If I ever meet one of the testers of this game I hope I get a chance to tee-bag there stupid shotgun/titan class all in and around their mouth. Too bad that they won't notice though because I only got the assist on them so my body won't be highlighted after they are dead. LAME whew I feel better.

Best mele Flame shield Self revive Personally I think jump is better than Hunter... you can jump and aim and stay hovering for a short time. 2 grenades That's allot of upsides Hunter Agility reload and stability perk Different jumping excels in one sucks in another Golden gun and arc blade is nice in pvp Golden gun and arc blade is worthless in pve You get a cool looking hood?

Dude, fair enough if you don't like Warlock Class, but Nova Bomb being useless in PVE?! they can take down a minotaur or 2 easily?! I also finish off most Bosses with my Sunsinger Super so how the hell is that crap? not even getting into how the self-resurrect can save alot of groups asses! Anyway, each to their own :)
