It is laughable that even the new legendaries are stronger than my vex mythoclast. The vex needs to be unique and worth more than other ordinary exotics. It needs that higher damage in PVE due to the simple fact that it is at the moment the hardest weapon to get in the game.

The Mythoclast is not hard to get. At all.

If you truly compare the raw damage of the mythoclast it is still the highest damaging autos in the game. Hits are usually in the 450-600 range. Maybe a max Suros does more but nothing else. In its last buff it got base damage increase plus the attack increase, along with precision damage increase.

Max suros only does more on the last hit of the magazine. At least against level 30 enemies. Dunno about 32 enemies. I wouldn't object to a buff to 350ish attack, but I'd really like to see more reserve ammo for it.

Suros has a dmg increase for the bottom half of its mag

And it's not really noticeable till that last round.

Thanks for the numbers, well that just shows the huge buff it got. Less power and the Suros does more damage only on the last bullets. I'm not against it going up to 331. I think 350 might be overkill.

Giving the vex 331 attack would make it similar to other exotics. So then what was the point of busting our butts to complete VOG on hard and praying to RNGesus to get this weapon?

If they made it 331 it will still decimate all other exotics. One guy above posted that the vex at 323 doesn't get out damaged till the last bullet from a 331 max Suros. Even at a lower damage it is still out damaging it from bullet 1. Not to mention it has crowd control so every kill adds 3 seconds of damage boost.

well i'm definitely against vex getting 350 attack but 346 attack seems logical to me. Bungie wants vex to be stronger than old exotics and so it should be 346 attack.

It's already stronger. The only exotic that does more is TLW but you and compare hand Cannon to an auto rifle. 346 wouldn't be bad. It would run the PvE world hands down.

if you think about 323 is its current dmg which was pre dlc so its logical to add 23 to it making the damage 346.
