Warlocks, do you raid in Voidwalker?
The group I play with have a very narrow thought on Warlocks. Sunsinger or gtfo.
So who of our order run voidwalker? And what build are you raiding with?

1 ReplyI didn't use void much until I got the Obsidian Mind helmet. It makes void walker a million times funner for me.

I enjoy voidwalker for certain strikes but... there aren't many sections of either raid that require a nova bomb vs a revive. Not to mention I prefer all of the sunsinger perks over the voidwalker ones. It has better grenades, better melee, and a better super in my opinion. Idk tough call.

Always Void Walker, I don't need a safety net self revive!

I run voidwalker bc my sunsinger isnt maxed yet, its pretty helpful in vog tbh

I switch between them sometimes you just need dps. And yea sun singer chucks grenades but really it's useful to switch between them there are parts in the raid where you "know" your not going to die

1 ReplyI always use Sunsinger. The ability to self-revive is just too useful, especially when there's no ability to revive or when you have to wait 30 seconds for someone else to get you. Last time I did Crota's End, my entire party wiped right as we formed the first bridge, but I used Radiance and just jumped over all the enemies and got us to the next checkpoint. Definitely saved us a lot of time and effort, as well as made me feel like a boss.

Sunsinger in PvE, Voidwalker in PvP...I keep the sunsinger just in case I do something dumb n die or need to save a wipe when we all get in a jam. My load out won't be perfected until after I hit 32 and can mess around with the upgrades n new exotics.

I main with voidwalker. When I solo nightfalls I use sunsinger. But seriously, I use whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like.

void walker every where how ever in raids I run a sunsinger now when bungie makes it possible to wear 2 exotics I'll be a void walker 100% in raids

I main a Hunter. I play my warlock like my Hunter, so yes.

2 RepliesI hate when people make you switch to sunsinger. It's my character! My class! Don't tell me how to use it! Then I almost never die and my suoer is to resurrect so it's pointless for me. I've been running voidwalker permanently I love it so much more if the group doesn't like it then they usually suck because they need you to carry them and revive them every time they die it's dumb

I like sunsinger just because I feel 10+ grenades are sometimes more useful than one explosion. Plus any kills while radiance is active produces orbs of light which help out the team. From time to time I play void walker just for the fun of the spec.

Def voidwalker for traversing the abyss. I'll switch to sunsinger for the bridge. Then back to voidwalker for death singer and Crota.

Depends on the fire team I run with. I hold my own but if team fails a lot....

In VoG I love to use voidwalker, sunsinger is a last resort as a crutch

I always use void walker when I raid on my warlock. Has far more superior DPS.

Void through the VOG Untill atheon then I use Sunslinger. Void at the start of Crotas end (with obsidian mind because I get my super back instantly after using it so I spam it non stop) then sunslinger for the rest of the raid.
