How did you get your Gjallarhorn?
I'm curious as to how everybody got a Gjallarhorn besides buying one from Xur. I've yet to be fortunate to get one. I've been doing VOG, nightfall and weekly, every week. I also do Vanguard strikes everyday. So I'm wondering how people got theirs and I'll just grind the way that seems to be the most common. Thanks guys
EDIT: thanks for all the replies, I didn't expect this many honestly. But as of right now it seems like nightfall is the most common way to get it. Few lucky people from legendary engrams

First one I got from xur. Then atheon. Then the nightfall and the first nightfall after the xpac to. I seem to have sucked rngesus dick somewhere along the lines and he has blessed me with endless gjallarhorns.

I got my one and only from a legendary engram from a daily event. Wasn't expecting much from the engram and as I was going up to the cryptarch I said to my buddy: "hey how funny would it be if I got Gjallarhorn out of this?" I decoded it and bam, I got it. My buddy's jaw dropped lol.

Bought my first one from Xur. Got my other two from Atheon and Crota. All are fully upgraded.

It was from an engram and my first exotic, didn't realise until lately how fortunate I was.

I haven't but I dragged one of my friends through the nightfall on the last nexus one , me getting 148 kills him getting 6(he was in the whole game aswel) and of course he got gjallahorn.

Got it from the crucible this week. Joined the game late score was like 4k-3k and finished in first with a 3.7 or so k/d. Let me tell you I was super pumped been waiting for this weapon for awhile. That was the only exotic I received in 400+ crucible matches.

I was battling my way through a tiger stokes and along came the nexus me and him have crossed paths many times before and this one felt no different than any of the others I was in my normal spot dropping pop shots from behind a pillar and then something hit me he had a sliver of health left and me always liking to be a badass decided to punch that bitch well I smacked him so hard he shit a jellyhorn and then I danced on his corpse and woke up and cried because I still don't have one
