No, the vendor gear is DLC loot. That's why it has the Roman numeral 1 in the corner of the loot. All loot is available to everyone whether you purchased the DLC or not. The only exception is Crota's End raid gear.
Also Husk of the Pit is not a mission nor is Eris even needed to obtain it. It's a random drop like everything else.
