You don't though, because you are asking why a random drop is random.

Its not random. Its a chance to drop, theres a percentage in there somewhere. Theres no random loot in this game its all percentage based. You tell me something thats random? Killing atheon and getting relic iron, that would be random, but it will never happen because its based on a percentage to drop certain items on a loot table. What im saying is i dont understand how the percentage could be so low yet my friends have mutiple husks, one has 5 now in less that 50 tries. I guess im just super unlucky but its making me wonder.

Yes, there is a programmed chance for it to drop. However, not everyone's drop rate is consistent with the set number. Therefor, random.
