how did you beat the PVP thorn bounty?
I've got it at the moment and I literally cannot do it. Not because of a lack of skill or anything it's because I've got no void weapons. Apart from truth but I can't do a whole game with that can I? And I'm a hunter so no void for me. What did you use for the thorn bounty?
I want to get Atheons Epilogue.
But I'll probably end up using a blue fusion rifle/shotgun.
Tried it using a green fusion rifle I bought from gunsmith but it was absolute bullshit. It never 1hkd anyone. So -blam!-ing frustrating.
And I bought the void mg and like it so far.

I was also a hunter when i did mine i had a void shotty and camped heavy drops then used truth and got it quick

I used a void light beware (fusion) and corrective measure HM I ran as defender so I could use a void grenade and I used weapons of light to buff my weapons... I did better than I normally do with an assault rifle and using striker super :/ Good luck bud... playing crucible during Iron banner should help as those with good weapons will be playing in the IB

Void mg and shotgun/ fusion rifle for me. What I would recommend b4 entering crucible matches is change ur gear. Some see it gear as all void and think u r doing that bounty and set out to cause u a living Hell by killing u with void to negate any kills u get just causing more frustration

The problem I found in most regular encounters was I had to cover the distance to shotgun, and get killed playing like a fool for void kills or I'd start fighting 1 person only to be killed by a team mate. To avoid this I did most of my playing in rumble. The maps are usually more close quarters, and there's more likelihood I can regeneration before my next encounter. I tend to get more kills in pvp with a steady machine gun (swarm is ideal for this bounty). The void grenades and void special were icing on the cake. Oh I almost forgot, melee special for void walker counts too so get them near death and if your special is up, slap'em into nothingness

Patience and paranoia (i.e. playing very conservatively to avoid death as much as possible). Blue void shotgun and voidwalker grenades.

I had some blue 8-shot Void Fusion Rifle...that was the only thing I could use aside for Heavy ammo...finally got it though.

Atheons epilogue, comedian and zombie apocalypse. Took ages.

Epilogue is great, but it's kind of a bullet hose. I just got the bounty again on my hunter, and I'm running truth, epilogue, and 77 wizard, and that works pretty well. Use IB tactics.

Edited by TronCat: 12/18/2014 4:38:46 PMI've done it twice on my Hunter so no fancy void grenades or supers. Use a void shotgun/fusion rifle if you're good enough use a sniper. Camp heavy ammo. Steal other peoples kills and use them as human shields. Play control so you can get a multi kill with a rocket launcher when they're on a control point.

Void walker and Void Fusion Rifle. Tried to Rambo it and got owen, stopped going for kills and just went into don't die mode and it was over in no time.

I used a green shotgun I got from the gunsmith it took two hits to kill someone though

on my hunter I found an ok Rare Void Fusion rifle from the Gunsmith and i went hunting in Control games

80% sniper kills, 20% machine gun kills I basically camped every map. I found that venus and mars were easiest with those open spaces. Stick through it. Not as hard as it first seems

Ran it as Voidwalker Warlock. Atheons Epilogue Preydiths Revenge Corrective Measure Ended up clearing it in 6 games.
