Favorite or Most Memorable Moments/Experiences in Destiny

Ever have a moment in Destiny that you won't forget amongst all the fun things you've done? If so, share them here! My favorite Destiny moment happened no more than a few days ago. I was patrolling Earth, picking off Vandals, Dregs and Shanks with a combination of my devastating Last Word and my trusty Praedyth's Revenge when the skies grew dark, and a message presented itself on my HUD. <PUBLIC EVENT> I prepared myself for the oncoming battle. Reloaded, Super Charged, grenades at the ready. Then another message appeared. 'The Blades of Crota's have invaded this world...' With surprise and determination I rushed to the normal invasion points and came face to face with a Blade of Crota and his devious summoners. The so claimed 'Blade of Crota' fell before me, sustaining no more than a few shots from The Last Word and an Axion Bolt grenade. With the relic dropped and the Hive extinguished, I claimed my prize. I felt its power pulse in my metal palms. Focused on the power that now lay in my fingers, I nearly neglected the previous task at hand. A fleet of Fallen ships burst through the evening clouds and dropped their troops of petty Dregs and Shanks. As the last troop ship departed, a final ship swooped in carrying a Devil Walker on its underside. The massive machine landed on the snowy soil with a heavy thud. All of its joints shuddered with the impact. Multiple Guardians began unloading everything they had into the Walker, one by one it's legs burst open. I used the power I had recently received to swing the sword at its appendages. Swing after swing, I felt an even greater power building within the sword until I couldn't hold it in any longer. I jumped up higher than ever before and swung the sword down with great force. Blue energy sparked and crackled from the blade and traveled vigorously along the ground until it's strength reached the exposed core of the Fallen Walker. The beast of a machine let out a mechanical roar as it wobbled and burst with small explosions until it finally fell. What was left was nothing more than a metal shell engulfed in flame. The blade vanished, but it's essence still lingered, and I couldn't help but wish to hold it once more.
Anyone wishing to share their own experiences may do so. On a side note, if anyone would like to join the 'House of Meta' clan, you are more than welcome. Though it is recommended that members be at least 16 years old. We focus on raiding and completing the Nightfalls. We want people to have a constant supply of allies to join their fire team, should they need a hand.
• I wish I had your enthusiasm. A couple months back, my friend and I killed the Iron Walker on the Moon so fast that it didn't even register us as completing the event. We started it, killed the Walker in 15 seconds, and didn't get a reward, progress towards the Public Event bounty, or reward at the Postmaster.
