Newbie question - How to kill Acolytes ?
Hello, I am trying to learn to play Destiny and ran into Acolytes with my Warlock character. My two guns, and my Wizard grenade seem to have no effect on them. What does it take to kill them?

1 ReplyShoot them. Of course if they are more than 3 levels above you, denoted by ???? over their heads, that means you're too low of a level to do any damage to them.

3 Repliesit sounds like you've just encountered them for the first time ever, and if so that means you're on Earth still and they're too high level for you just yet. don't worry, in time you'll be able to slaughter them along with the rest of us, but for now just cut and run when you come across anything with a ?? as a level number indicator, including Fallen -- especially if they pop 'immune's. there's just no way you'll be able to beat them, but in time you'll become more powerful, guardian. have fun exploring! :3

when you look at there lvl is it just ????s if so then you are too low of a level to touch them

I think you're just facing enemies that are too high leveled for you. If enemies are at least 4 levels above you, you deal no damage to theknat all.
