I believe there should be an option to reroll the raid gear for new perks. . . If I play a bladedancer why would I want to create orbs when killing hive with a grenade? Bladedancer grenades are mediocre at best and orbs for melee would be much more useful, not to mention the other gear I've gotten boosts my strength and limits my discipline. Also, for example (I haven't gotten the chest yet) If I play with handcannons why do I want a chest that lets me carry more auto rifle ammo? This should have been around since the vault of glass, but now that Eris exists it seems it would be easy to add this feature to her menu and make it cost something(ascendant shards maybe?), or even better make it free and allow us to choose but be forced to lock it in once we do. You said we would all have our own unique experience and there would be player autonomy! Please give it to us. I want to see people using unique builds that are conducive to their play styles, I want the same thing for myself. I'm asking you to allow us a small bit of choice and autonomy in our builds, I don't think that would hurt the game and people would be so happy for this they might forget about some of the other things that have upset them recently. After about 100 votes it seems that a random reroll in the vein of Iron Banner is the most common response, with RNG having slightly more votes than the lock in option. At this point my favorite option is one suggested by Das Bose and quoted below. I'm actually surprised that so many are happy with the RNG and I want to make clear that the RNG vote means RNG with no reroll at any time ever, but let's keep the votes coming!
