Already released Necrochasm??
So I just ran into somebody in the tower with the legendary version of the necrochasm, which is called eidolon ally. It's the legendary version of the necrochasm because the last part you need to upgrade the weapon with is called a "crux of crota" which is obtained by completing the raid in hard, as said from the description.
Can someone explain how this guy has this weapon? Am I missing something?

2 RepliesThey added the common weapon which is the husk of the pit and you get that from killing the Knights in the blade of Crota events. After you get the husk of the pit you get Eris to level 3 and buy the embalming orb and you can use it in the husk to turn it into the eidolon alley

A friend of mine told me that it's a random drop. One guy got it from killing (the fist of Crota i'm not 100% sure) a bunch of times.

Basically the husk of the pit can now drop from blades of Crota on earth and the moon and people have been able to upgrade it to the legendary version using the item you buy from eris. They won't be able to turn it into the exotic until hard mode releases though.
