Rocket Launchers Problem
I posted in forums about my delima and was told to post here and see if there is something wrong with my account in some way.
I play Destiny an average of 3 to 5 hours a day after I get off of work.
I have leveled all 3 classes to 31, 30, and 30. I have completed the Raid from start to finish 50 times now with 153 Completions (Reward completions I believe)
I do the Dailies every day and Bounties as well. I do the Nightfall/Weekly Heroic/Normal VoG/Hard VoG/ and now Crota on all 3 characters every single week.
The problem that I have is that ever doing ALL the events and playing as much as I do, for some reason I have NEVER recieved any form of Rocket Launcher drop from ANYTHING. I have a Truth on every character now, but I have had to buy all of them. I bought a legendary rocket launcher a few days ago so that I could use it with other Exotics.
I don't know what to do because now it will take me weeks in order to get the Marks needed to purchase rocket launchers and they are a sort of necessity in the new Raid. I have been able to get away with using Corrective Measure, but now I am needing to get some rocket launchers on all my characters but I haven't EVER gotten any type of Rocket Launcher from ANYTHING I have ever done in the game.
Is there something wrong with my account? Is there something I can do in order to be able to get a weapon that is needed more than ever. At first I thought RNG was just not giving me any, but from the sheer amount of playtime and rewards I get from all the events/activities this game has to offer I still NEVER get Legendary Rocket Launchers.
Please, Please, Please help me out, I am completely at a loss on this problem. I would love to fight Crota with my friends but without a decent Launcher it seems that I am needed less and less for the Crota Fight. I love this game and plan on playing it for a LONG time to come, but this Rocket Launcher situation is very discouraging.

I completed Crota's End last week and got 2 Hunger of Crota's (New raid Rocket Launcher). I completed it 3 times this week and got 3 swordbreakers (raid shotgun). The likelyhood of me ever getting anything like that in a row is beyond any odds I could possibly calculate. Or rather, I don't want to do the math for a number I'm sure will have over 5 digits. Everything in this game has something that works for someone. I tend to have horrid luck during Raids, but the Nightfalls treat me very well. You just have to keep pushing for whatever you can get.

2 RepliesI have both Truth and Unfriendly Giant and both are more than adequate......as for getting them as a drop.... Good luck as the drop rate for anything half decent is piss poor

2 RepliesI'm not a Bungie Employee, but unfortunately I think you've just been rather unlucky. I'm not particularly an expert on the overarching metagame of the new raid, but from my experiences, I feel that Truth is an acceptable substitute for the more popular Rocket Launchers, at least on the final boss. I have a friend who was using one instead of a Gjallarhorn, and I had zero complaints.

Im not a fan or exotic heavies. You use them far less than primary and secondary weapons. Good luck. If I could I would say that bungie should add a token system to thier random loot rewards. I.e. if someone finishes a raid on normal one token. Hard 3 tokens and say 50 token buys (exotic item). But that wont happen. Too fair... and then you can quantify exactly how much grinding there is. Thats why they stick with the random drops so it hides the fact that there is a huge amount of grinding to get what you want.
