did you receive a weapon for crota drop? was it secretly patched?
so from everyone i talked to last week, with the crota end game everyone was guaranteed a weapon, and none of my friends had seen anyone go without getting a weapon... last night with the reset however, we ran through it twice back to back, and both times i only received shards upon completion, and it happened to others in my group as well. not even a shader or ship, just shards. is this happening to others as well? i've seen a few posts about it

This happened to me I was sword bearer and only got shards while rest of Fireteam hot weapons

I got the sniper and the lmg and also the helmet from crota last night

I received a second damn fusion rifle. Its RNG. Some people may get a gun or a helmet or materials

I'm pretty sure that you will guarantee get the shader/emblam and a weapon the first time you kill him on a hero. The second time it's all rng again.

Edited by OdinsDaDdy: 12/17/2014 2:58:09 PMI got Light of The Abyss, shards, emblem, shader. Two of my teamates got weapons as well. One got the shotgun, the other got the sniper. Pretty much everyone got the emblem, shader and shards. One guy only got shards.

1 ReplyI think the first time (on each character) you beat Crota you get a 100% weapon drop. The following times are not guaranteed.

Last week ran it 3x and got 3 shotguns. So far this week ran twice and have 6 shards....

2 RepliesYep my entire raid team got the shader, emblem, materials and a weapon first week. 1 guy had the shader and emblem equipped the second time last through last week. He did not receive the shader or emblem. This week he ran the character without and relieved the emblem and shader. For us, if you have the item equipped, it does not drop it again. But only shader and emblem so far. This week we ran it twice and only on the second time did 1 of our team get the fusion rifle. My team and I were very disappointed to beat Crota twice and receive 4 radiant materials for our efforts... Completely lame!!!
