How do you kill cursed thralls with your melee attack?
There doesn't seem to be a way to do it without dying.

Oh my you guys are trying way to hard... Just melee five and die. Pick up the little diamonds once there are five on the ground. Easy-peasy

You can fo moon missions with lower level thralls. That way you can take them out easily no matter your armor.

Set armor to max and make sure you have a full health meter.

If you have DLC can do this easy on Fist of Crota Mission. Spawn and speed passed wizard. GO kill the Sword of Crota Dude, grab sword and run back outside. Once there wizard will spawn Cursed Thrall, get a group of them around you and sword smash the ground. You will die but if done should kill about 10 of them, If this is for the URN part of the DLC quest re-spawn and run over and pick them up, Job done

Carefully... Check there is only one! Check you have full health! Give it a light slam! Run! Repeat as required...

One at a time. One won't kill you but it will take your health all the way down. Melee and back peddle.

Put all your sub-class perks on armor, then melee, run away like a baby, and come back to pick it up.

Max your armor stats and you'll be fine. Don't kill more than one at a time though.

I completed that bounty without dying. But if you cant. Easiest way to do it is melee kill one. The explosion will kill you. But the item will be on the ground. Do it 4 more times. Then run around pick up all 5 of the dropped items. Then your finished. hope this helps. :)

Chamber of the night. Kill the 3 witches, run straight to the door where the first wave of enemies are coming out. Knife 1 (make sure you have half of your health, so you'll die). When you're dead, the item dropped. Repeat this 4 times and then kill one and survive. Pick up the 4 items. Voilà 5 kills

First mission on dark below. Omnigul spawns 5 or 6 cursed thrall. Have a shield of a sort then melee each one individually.

2 Replies-Play "The Wakening" mission. -Come across the room where large groups of cursed thrall come at you. -Kill the Shrieker -Carefully shoot the the cursed thrall's feet. This will cause their health to go down in slight bursts and they won't explode. -When their health is low, try to separate it from the others. If you can't, just melee one and jump away. -Repeat until completed. P.S. - I've heard that the drops from the cursed thrall won't reset on death. Therefore, don't collect the drops until there are 5 on the ground. Just in case.

Do the wakening mission. After the room full of acolytes is the room with a shrieker. Cursed thrall spawn in that room forever, and it isn't darkness so you can respawn if you die. Melee a cursed thrall and die; the item drops and stays even after you respawn. DO NOT PICK IT UP melee and kill 5 thralls, there are now 5 items on the ground. You got it from here

Did it on patrol on the moon Shoot them once and then mallee them and jump back. You'll take damage but won't die. Did this with my warlock and hunter

Spec for more armor. Get them all alone. Smash them. Repeat (only after health is fully recharged)

I used the little side mission on earth before you get to skywatch in the room with the knight and acolytes. I killed them first then killed the little fella praying in the corner, it sets off a load of spawns including 5 thralls you need to bash. I just backed up to the stairs and took out everything leaving the green headed eejits and just melee'd, let health recover and rinse. Did it with all 3 classes no problems.

2 RepliesStep 1 - Delete any useless Hunters you have created. Step 2 - Create one of the two useful character classes. Step 3 - Melee them without dying with ease.
