Overall I like the material system. I am pretty outraged on the scarcity of ascendent mats for TDB exotics and raid stuff. Ascendant mats were pretty easy to obtain but the new radiant mats are way to rare. Need to find a happy medium.

All I get is mats off new raid shame no gear to use on

Well I understand the frustration that causes too but once you get some gear (unless you have gone out of your way to take a character get him to 20, gear him up, run the raid, delete the character than rinse and repeat) you won't have enough mats to fully upgrade it. I have the raid chest and gloves. Both are ready to upgrade the last three nodes but I only have 4 radiant shards. There is a trade system with Eris (which I like in theory but haven't been able to use yet cuz not enough rep) but even then I can only trade my 10 radiant energies for shards. 14 shards will not fully upgrade any piece. This is after 2 weeks of running the new raid. I know it's random and I love RNG but it is disheartening that after 2 weeks and lots of time spent I cannot upgrade even one piece of my armor.
