Loot System is broken in Crotas End.
So I'm doing the Crotas End raid right?
So We're doing a fresh run and we get all the way to Crota.
After failing to kill Crota three times we try one last time.
Everyone in the fireteam is sweating with excitement and we're all nervous to see if we can kill him or not.
We get Crota really low and he's down to a couple of hits left.
We get him to drop down and here we go! This is it! We're gonna kill Crota and get this amazing loot!
WE DID IT WE KILLED CROTA, SHOW US THE AMAZING LOOT
Team Mates
"I got the Black Hammer!"
"I got Crotas End!"
"I got the heavy machine gun!"
"I got Light of the Abyss!"
Me: "I got Radiant Sha-Wait...Radiant shards?"
I didn't get a large amount of Radiant shards.
I didn't get anything with the Radiant shards.
Nothing else except just 2 radiant shards.
Now I don't know about you, but I think that only getting Radiant shards for killing Crota isn't supposed to happen.
If that is what's supposed to happen, then that is complete crap.
Anyways the journey was fun, but the reward was not so exciting.

Bungie , Make a logical loot system... Nightfall or Raid give always the same shit... but it's always the same who drop best gear or weapons.. ... it's serious? Why you won't explain your loot system ? You joke us....

Bungie. Doesn't. Care. That is the hard to swallow truth of this game. If something takes a player longer to do, then that's more time they spend playing the game. That's why the only time anything ever gets patched is when it makes it easier for players to get ahead. Snipe spots? Patched. Atheon distance tactic? Patched. Raid glitch? Nope Weapons leveled up? Commendations. Notice the pattern?

Yep, shards last 2 times. Have 3 kids so only time for one toon. :/...Why I'm not against cheesing. If Bungie doesn't want exploits then get half the programmers off of destiny 2, n working on this game!

If you think your unlucky listen to this. Over the past few weeks I have done crota 3 times each week and six times in a row I got nothing but shards or energy, loot system isn't broken, just utter bollocks.

3 RepliesThe last five or six CE raids I've completed have given me nothing but shards and energies, duplicate gloves and armor. No weapon drop from Crota at all. Today I did a raid where everyone, every single player got a weapon from Crota (at least three Black Hammers), and two people even got exotics at the same time. What do I get? Two Shards...

1 ReplyI'm thinking they're punishing the most dedicated players. My grimmore score is decently high 2300 + - two lvl 31 characters most of 90% of exotic primary's 3 exotic specials 2 exotic heavy I keep receiving the same loot over and over again and again. But I'm seeing other peeps receive good loot. I'm finding it harder and harder to play due to the reward system, poor connection issues (not at my end) glitches in game, people that pop in and out in hopes to collect rewards yet not really help. I honestly feel like bungie is just dragging us on milking every last ounce of this game, till destiny 2

The only thing that really gets me about the loot is why the -blam!- do you give people who are getting items shards also. 2 shards and an item vs 2 shards hmm. Yeah ill go with 2 shards and an item please? Why cant we get 4 shards? I dont want people getting items to only get the item, i want the people just getting shards to not just get objectively worse loot

2 Repliesyea this happened to me and my fire team last night. after struggling to clear the raid for 2 straight nights and literally spending a total of 5 hours on this, we finished only to have 3 people get radiant energy/shards and the the other 3 receive weapons. 1 person got 3, DAMMIT 3 WEAPONS! this is a load of horse SH#$. bungie needs to stop making the raid loot be so damn RNG based and start making to more structured. the RNG for the game is what makes it extremely frustrating 90% of the time. whats the point to play the "end game" content if all we get is shafted. this is beyond unacceptable, for a team of developers who should know what they're doing, they sure dont know how to show it. the Dark Below was supposed to be destiny's redemption for the massive frustration that was the original launch. they did listen or fix any of the major problems. on top of that on disc DLC just tops things off. i love the game but its starting to lose its luster with this expansion really fast.

I've beaten crota 4 times. Twice each week with my 2 hunters. And while I've gotten shards or energy for beating crota, it's definitely not broken. In those 4 runs I've acquired 3 gauntlets 1 chest 1 boots the shotgun, rocket launcher, and heavy machine gun.
