Guess now I'm a week into it it all seems a bit pointless. I've levelled to 31 to be able to do level 30 dailies as I was 29 doing the 28s. The rewards are the same. The relative difficulty is the same. What was the point? Speaking as a mostly solo player I'm grinding away to get back to where I was. My progress has been reversed. I need a whole load of new guns to match my previous ones relative to the content. It would have been better to keep 24 vanguard strikes and 28 dailies at the original rewards and add another shard and/or engram to the new top tier ones. At least I would feel I'm levelling up for something better rather than to get back where I was pre dlc. And whilst you're listening can I have my mats for faction (crucible) marks back. Pretty please? Or add some vanguard mark gear to the faction vendors? Nice to have a bit of choice.
