WARNING! Dismantling IB gear won't give you shards!!!
Just FYI. You can learn from my mistake. If u attempt to dismantle IB gear you will not get any shards for it. There are others that have done the same thing and have paid the price. Just wanted to let u know and kind of sucks doesn't it?

5 RepliesAt least fully upgraded tower gear gives you 1-3 Radiant Shards when you dismantle it. The exchange rate of ascendant shards into radiant shards is obviously a lot higher then trading with Eris, but the ascendant shards are plentiful and easier to get.

Better to not get shards than have it sitting in your inventory being the useless 30 gear it is.

13 RepliesI understand why they did this for the Queen's Wrath gear, but for Iron Banner? The amount of time you have to put in just to reach Rank 3/4 to be able to buy gear and the cost of the gear itself should justify being able to get Ascendant Shards from it. Bungie should have just made another single-player game.

Yes I also got nothing guess I will not buy from the next event in a few days time. I had arms and boots fully upgraded but got nothing back, just a small amount of glimmer and I mean small considering the prices he charged for it in the first place.
