Edited by S1CK L1KE V1CK: 12/13/2014 9:34:51 PMYou can still play this game and have plenty of fun without buying the dlc. All games do this but you only make a big deal about this game
-
I agree completely
-
It's not a fact. It's incredibly inaccurate actually.
-
Your definition presented by the way is a clear definition of this situation. When web user (gamers inline are internet users) are blocked access to something specific on the internet (that being the ability to play strikes) and must pay a subscription fee ( the price of the DLC). You should stop playing video games and go back to school or take an online class. It'll all be ok, I still have fair in you
-
Listen man I have gone back and for with you for ages. DLC is not a subscription fee. Now trust me I'm sure you are frustrated by the situation. I'm not saying you should or you shouldn't be. All I'm saying is if you are going to make a statement then use the right term. Pay Wall unfortunately is not that term. You are fighting me on the wrong thing. Fight for the issue you have, not the terminology. You haven't even made a valid argument against destiny yet. All you have successfully done is debate me on the definition of a word that (no matter how much you want it to) will not change.
-
I give up. Go to college

Edited by D0CT0R_LEG1T: 12/15/2014 10:58:45 AMWow man. Tried to take the high road and be nice to you. Unfortunately I forgot you were a -blam!-ing brain dead piece of shit, and that because I used some big words, you (with that absolutely pea sized brain of yours) wouldn't understand. Let me try it again since honestly you didn't probably understand a word I said in the previous paragraph. "Me no want to fight with you. Me think you fight wrong battle. Me think you not throw rocks at sky when it's raining. Me think you should build roof instead." I couldn't help using an analogy so I'm 100% you are going to throw out some other meaningless insult.
-
The fact that you haven't understood anything I have said makes it quite clear you've never been to college. You are the laughing stock of my sociology class currently. I like how you try to flip the "big word" argument against me. All I had to do was say sociology and you immediately have no idea what I'm talking about because if you did, I wouldn't be explaining any of this too you. You would already understand that my point is valid. But you've never gone too college so, you know, lack of knowledge is the real problem here.
-
Also to be clear I have understood everything you have said, what you are not understanding is that I'm not disagreeing with your frustration, I am disagreeing with your incorrect terminology.

You think that maybe for like two seconds even IF I didn't know the definition of the word I would just Google it? What I am saying is that I understand all of your frustration, and I understand where you are coming from. What I am also saying is that if you would just find a term that actually applies to this situation, you wouldn't have to validate your argument through another argument. It would have substance on it's own and it wouldn't need any sort of additional materials to justify itself. I don't mean just sources. You are basically giving sources for the sources, sources. It's confusing and honestly having to use some concept, that I personally doubt you truly understand, makes your argument weak at best. Also knowledge =/= intelligence. Just because you may or may not know more than someone about about a particular subject, does not mean that you are smarter than them. It just means that you are more knowledgeable than them. One last thing college doesn't make you inherently smarter than someone. The studying is what gives you the knowledge. If you truly think someone can't be knowledgeable without the almighty degree, then may the sweet lord help you.
-
It is a fact and that definition fits when applied to a game instead of a website.
-
You are a moron. Answer me the question. Do you pay a subscription fee?
-
Wikipedia is one of the most unreliable sources of information on the internet. Which is why colleges do not accept it as a viable source. It's a paywall
-
Wikipedia is pretty reliable if you know how to use it. Wikipedia basically takes info from different sources to make one article. So if you want to use a specific part of that article, scroll down and look at the sources. The sources they give are actually usable.
-
Wikipedia is actually pretty damn accurate, and anyone who says otherwise is just ignorant.
-
College dude
-
It is not a pay wall are you seriously saying the 3 random websites are more reliable than Wikipedia? http://mashable.com/category/paywall/ http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/paywall Is the dictionary wrong? Why would you just blindly accept that he is correct without looking it up? Oh that's right you are incapable of forming your own opinion about something. Blindly follow him to a nice lawsuit and continue to slander bungie.
-
Just like the term "gay" is slang for homosexual but started out as happy. New definitions for terms and words occur everyday. If it's socially accepted then it simply is. Seeing as how articles on socially accepted websites are addressing the issue as a "paywall", and more and more people are using the term in that manner, you are wrong. That's just basic Sociology.
-
You truly are the most idiotic person I have ever met. You literally are making up words to justify your argument.
-
Oh wow, I thought that was really basic stuff I just put out there. I'm sorry you don't understand or have the knowledge to comprehend what I'm saying. I don't want to confuse you anymore so I will stop.
-
I understood you perfectly. You said we were making up definitions to words you carrot.
-
Yes, we as people in society create need definitions to words every single day and when one becomes socially accepted, then you have the rest of the story. I'm i not bring clear enough with this or do you just not believe it?
-
So... So... Just now, you created a new definition for "paywall?" Well, you know what, you're a flower. By the way, I just re-defined "flower" as "pretentious douche who can't admit he's wrong."
-
I, as well as social media sites and thousands of gamers all agree on it. When you get more people to agree to your new definition of flower, then it will be sound. I remember when I thought I knew what I was talking about. You guys are cute
-
I'm cute, and you're muted, sorry for feeding you.
