What does this mean? IOHBOY
I actually discovered this about two weeks ago. I was playing in Metropolis and was at the loading zone in-between the sewer pipes/tunnel and the Jackal sniping area with the lone soldier hot rodding it in the LAAV Warthog. Well, I hit the loading zone, but then fell through the world. As I was falling I read "IOHBOY" on a texture map. It might have been the back of a wall or something. I have absolutely no idea what this means and whether or not it means anything. Insight anyone?

in the beginning of halo2 when the chief is getting his medals and cortana interrupts because the covenant are coming, doesn't she say that they found contacts just outside of Ioh or something like that?

Nobody is sure what it means, but in the video it clearly shows the IOHBOY written on the bridge while the guy taking the video is zooming in on it with his Beam Rifle. Nobody knows what IOHBOY means, but we think that it is a reference to SIOHBOY who was mentioned in the Halo2 credits. There is a spot on Metropolis, on top of the tunnel where you can see IOHBOY without dying if you magnify 10x with the sniper scope, if you're really that interested in the exact location of the IOHBOY pm me and I'll tell you. It could be an acronym, it could be dutch for broom, it could be an allusion, who knows with Bungie nobody ever does.

Broom? What's that supposed to be in reference to? ...maybe "still a little messy?" This happens sometimes when I hit a loading zone, I wonder if there are sayings like this at every loading point, maybe just known glitchy ones.
