Ruin wings discussion.
Inspect me fellow titans.
Let the comments flow on your thoughts for this armors applications.
I don't think it's all to great for pvp as its main ability is only effecting ammo received since only guardians carrying heavy will drop it.
But in PVE I like the idea of a defender running these with the orb producing perk. Not to mention just the extra damage we can dish with the additional ammo!
Needless to say I'm excited to see!
Edit: after getting them leveled up I will say I have noticed quite a bit more ammo drops. I still use a synth on occasion but it has definitely dropped my usage by quite a bit! Very handy!

Overall I think they are a great exotic. I shuffle exotics around on my titan depending on the situation. Lamp maze I use helm of saint 14 to blind the thrall hordes but I see armamentarium and ruin wings being awesome for both subclasses.

I love them. It's been consistent about 8 out of 10 times, good enough for me. However, I can't say it without thinking of Stewie from Family Guy "Roo-eend Wings"

The heavy ammo drop rate is inconsistent with my experience. After I got it leveled up, I tried it out on patrol and didn't see a drop. I killed about 20 fallen. Another time, it did. Did the sepiks bounty, no drops the entire time. Smh.

I think the look of the armor is amazing. Would love to see a full set of titan armor in that same design. Maybe have a winged helm and everything.

My Titan is identical lol. Apart from mines male and right now I've got the helm of light cos I've been hitting pvp and we have diff chest piece the rest is the same even the shader lol

1 ReplyThe seeds of ruin perk is perfect for the raid and pvp strikes... It's decent and should be copped.. I'm using wings for my pve build and my upgraded inmost light helm for pvp

I like them better than the armamentarium. I no longer lose heavy ammo when I change activities or die, and I'm getting enough heavy that I should be able to keep up a pretty consistent flow of Gjallarhorns in the raid. There are few situations in which capacity trumps replacement rate IMO.

3 RepliesGot mine from rngessus in NF this wk. Its awsome as long as u can get to the ammo drops. Doing the wkly with a m8 once i had it fully done up and next to the array i counted 17 heavy ammo packs after area was cleared. Would be more use in boss fights and say a saint 14 when you need to defend against mobs

Not a fan of them. Ran many strikes and not noticing more heavy ammo drops at all. Back to Armamentarium I go!!!

They certainly look cool, but I think The Armamentarium is still more useful.
