anyone decode an exotic engram from xur today?
Just wondering if it gave a current class item, or for another class like pre-dlc

Bought 5 and dismantled them all b/c they gave me stuff that I already had. I wanted Obsidian Mind for my warlock! Bought 7 last week and 5 this week. I'll try my luck again next week.

Got a 407 Hunter helmet. Too bad I'm a titan =[. Would have gotten me to lvl 30 from my current 28. Such bullshit.

1 ReplyI got the ATS/8 ARACHNID, new hunter helm with eyes all over it, but I also bought the ACHLYOPHAGE SYMBIOTE that gives 4 golden gun shots, because I don't see how zooming in golden gun with only 3 shots, will beat the other helm with 4..? It looks cool, but I think 4 golden gun shots is still superior. Let me know if anyone else can justify why the ATS/8 would be better than the old SYMBIOTE, other than being new, and looks..

I did 2. One for warlock(character I was using) and one for a hunter

On my Titan I decoded a Glass House helm. I tend to get pretty lucky when buying the helm engram. Cryptarch gave me Dire Ahamkara once, so I made a Warlock. All other times I've gotten Titan helms.

I decrypted 2 exotic helmet engrams. Got an upgraded Insurmountable Skullfort (for the titan that I decrypted it with) and an exotic Warlock helm. So 1 good decryption and 1 bad (I don't have a Warlock).

2 RepliesDecoded 4 on my Hunter and got: Symbiote - Yay! I don't have to upgrade or buy again Saint - Titan need a 2.0 Helm because that's the only exotic armor I have for him Inner Most Light - Yay! Another Titan helm for the other build Light Beyond - Sweet! Warlock needed a 2.0 for same reason as Titan. Cryptarch leveled, got the package and it was 2 legendaries. New boots for Titan, excellent. And then.... No Land Beyond! WTFBBQ, level 40 Cryptarch coughs up an Exotic?! Sure, I read that it's crap, but free Exotic is free. I feel like I hit the Destiny Lottery.

My titan has gotten the most gear from exotic engrams of my characters. A pity he doesn't exist.
