that hated dude in skywatch public event is invincible!
We waited 40 minites and 3 players can't bring even the fking arc shield down. WTF? Any help ppl?
All u mofos trying to be a dick would like to know Im lv31 and shooting the shield with maxed fatebringer. It barely does anything.
Edit: Just did it with 6 players in the area. Looks like this is not a very soloable task
Final edit: Gees this post has been quite popular. Now here I figured out what is actually happening. He seems to be weaker on the warsat event. Invincible on the enemies moving against each other event. I hope this work for you looking to beat him for a pair of legen gloves from Eris.

Really? We only had 3 people there (one low level. ) My fatebringer destroyed his shield and we killed him in under 10 seconds. Maybe glitch for you?

Edited by Liberty WaIk: 12/13/2014 1:30:49 AMOk if you have a maxed Gjallahorn you only need 2 people and he goes back to sleep. This enemy is nothing compared to Croata in the Raid. Can you solo a public event? Its slightly harder but still manageable with two folks. I was 31 and a half as well and it was no problem.

it gets harder based on the number of players an their lvls. I have done a number of world events solo including skywatch without issue. I have also done world events with 10+ and the bosses are near impossible unless everyone is really trying to dump them.

Solo'd him as a 29 hunter with max thunderlord lol. He was easy. Just another knight.

I did it solo. Just so happened to be a Blade of Crota. Grabbed the sword and never stopped swinging. Didn't stand a chance.

Did it as a lv29 warlock with two other people (lv 30 and a lv 28). I was actually using a rare level arc machine gun to take his shield down. I feel that his shield is pretty beefy and it regens very fast. So maybe having a constant dps with short pause(reload, etc) would be a better idea.

I did it solo. Makes me think where were you aiming...? Try fusion or arc rocket launcher next time.

Yea. Took 3 attempts.... Ended up staying say and rocket bombing him to the moon. He took all 8 rockets on a 302 truth and I wasn't the only one bombing him. Doesn't help matters that he shows up in the middle of a war, w a warsat, and drop ships from both fallen and hive. Fun as hell though. Pure insanity in the skywatch. Absolutely awesome.

Beat him very easily. I fought him with one clan mate. Wasn't an issue at all.

7 RepliesDude you must seriously be garbage. I've solo'ed that guy 10 times. It's not hard at all. Tip: RT/R2 is to shoot. LT/L2 is to aim.

He's part of a quest line. Of coarse he's going to be a bitch if you're not doing it.

Did it with 3. His shield was a bitch but after that went down it was cake

We killed him without issue... Use your Supers and heavies.

He was dead in less than a minute. Level 29 with maxed arc Zombie Apoc. Shield took a bit to get down, then his health just melted away.

Edited by Nyx Moontide: 12/12/2014 11:50:45 PMPeople do realize there are more than one version of the 'kill' enemy targets right? Sometimes they're very easy. Sometimes they are tough. And sometimes they have abnormally high defense and have shields that instantly recharge within .2 seconds.

Me and my brother duoed him, not too bad. We died a few times but we got him down.
