that hated dude in skywatch public event is invincible!
We waited 40 minites and 3 players can't bring even the fking arc shield down. WTF? Any help ppl?
All u mofos trying to be a dick would like to know Im lv31 and shooting the shield with maxed fatebringer. It barely does anything.
Edit: Just did it with 6 players in the area. Looks like this is not a very soloable task
Final edit: Gees this post has been quite popular. Now here I figured out what is actually happening. He seems to be weaker on the warsat event. Invincible on the enemies moving against each other event. I hope this work for you looking to beat him for a pair of legen gloves from Eris.

just wake the cave and he comes out. blade of crota comes, take his sword, whoop on him with the sword. dies in like, 2 seconds.

No his shield is invincible. Once it goes down he wipes pretty quick.

Glad you got it done. I waited around for quite a while, trying to get that event. Silently made acquaintances with the other Guardians that dropped in for the event. Ended up having 6 people sitting on top of a building waiting for the event. And when it happened boy was it fun. Everyone saluted when the event was finished and we all went our separate ways. Definitely going to be a Destiny memory that goes down with my Guardian.

Once you take off his shield he melts like butter.

His shield is really strong but his health goes away quickly

I solo'd him during warsat. Murmur brought shields down and g-horn did the rest. Not that difficult.

1st go was with my titan, I used my WoD to flash him then the 4 of us just unloaded on him, mainly primarys, as soon as his shield was down he had no chance 2nd was with my warlock, I put 6 RPGs into him then the other guy pinned him against a wall and kept at him with a sword while I unloaded with a pulse rifle, be both then finished with shotguns, the things shield didn't make it past 25% before droping back down

I got him, went up there to look for him and there were two randoms already there. We ran around killing for ten minutes then things went crazy. Hive and Fallen were just pouring out of the spawns, he showed up and down he went. I hit him with the new legendary rocket (maxed) with solar. Not sure what everyone else was using.

Fought him three times. First attempt was a solo, got him down to half health before he teleported off. Second attempt, Titan and Hunter, had him down in seconds. Blinded him in my bubble and went to town with arc fusion rife. Third, there were 4 level 30s, didn't even scratch him. Couldn't get close, barely could drop his shield. I'd have to agree that he must spawn with different health/shield stats.

Maxed Fatebringer, MurMur and Gjallarhorn took him out pretty quickly. Also, blade dancer arc grenades.

I used plan c and an arc hmg,i got lucky and found some other people camped there waiting for him,shit was hard solo,one mission after that is when you get your reward,all i got were some shitty gauntlets...

Me and two randos did it last night took him down in a min I took down his shield and they blasted him then I switched to my fatebringer and helped finish him.

I'm assuming sometimes he spawns with crazy health/sheild just like some random event targets
