that hated dude in skywatch public event is invincible!
We waited 40 minites and 3 players can't bring even the fking arc shield down. WTF? Any help ppl?
All u mofos trying to be a dick would like to know Im lv31 and shooting the shield with maxed fatebringer. It barely does anything.
Edit: Just did it with 6 players in the area. Looks like this is not a very soloable task
Final edit: Gees this post has been quite popular. Now here I figured out what is actually happening. He seems to be weaker on the warsat event. Invincible on the enemies moving against each other event. I hope this work for you looking to beat him for a pair of legen gloves from Eris.

it's getting through the shield.. is all, it's tough if you're in the area and he spawns with the hive fallen war.. just because he shows up when there's the highest difficulty yellow fallen and hive all around you at the same time.. which is very inconvenient.. worked much much better when it was the warsat event.. since those mobs are much fewer and far easier to kill.. without wizards and other captains two shotting you.. me and the other couple people waiting for him to show dropped him in about 5-10 seconds.. I barely got off two rockets before he was dead.

About to say, before reading your edit:and no detriment to you: but I was level 26(down from 29 after dismantling my exotic gear and replacing with new stuff) with a level 29 player yesterday, during the warsat event, took him down in about 2 minutes, with a ton of enemies coming from ships too. Now, either the warsat is easier, or maybe he becomes stronger, the higher the overall level of players is?? As it is, I only got a pair of thrall gauntlets, for completing every part of that Eris mission.

1 ReplyIm lvl 30 an i did it with two lvl 28s . The first time i did ut with two lvl 30s an couldnt take him down . Weird

Had to get the mighty Thunderlord out, and I with two others blasted him with heavy ammo. Took him down in a minute or two. Yeah, he's tough, but get your best exotic heavies out and go at 'em.

Me and my buddy did it with titan slams and gjallarhorns, he's a beast

Did it with Plan C and Fatebringer. Maxed Arc helps.

I soloed him with a maxed zombie apocalypse with arc took a full clip >. >

I don't know. I soloed him with a fusion rifle and some heavy ammo, and I was level 30. It was really tough, but I did it.

I brought his shield down when I used Bladedancing with a partner using Arc Heavy machine weapon. If you have Patience and Time that can work as well.

Beat him with 2 others on "the enemies are moving against each other..." Don't have any arc primary or heavy so I just blasted him with like 20 plan c shots and whatever they were using.

A random & I killed him in under a minute. Not sure what he used to bring the shield down but I finished him with Ghorn

I used murmur for shield and maxed out vex to kill. Didnt take too long.

I did it solo no problem.

His shield is tough but he has virtually no health once you get through it.

Edited by z3473501: 12/13/2014 7:16:14 PMI solo'd it when I realised the two other guys in the same area were totally useless and just kept using their primaries while getting killed repeatedly. Use a fusion rifle to drain his shield and couple of Gjallahorn rounds to kill him so hard he'll die to death. This was during an "Enemy moving against each other" event with yellow mobs everywhere.

Murmur, void blast, bad juju (Big fan of super regen) killed him dead!

I used Truth on him which took his shield down and he was dead in 10 sec.

I did it with my friend Just the two of us Using the murmur (arc) and a zombie apocalypse (solar) while the enemies were moving against each other... There was shit everywhere and we managed it with 2 people.

Funny, soloed him a couple days ago after the clash event, his shield took a second but he went down quite fast after that.

Did it with 1 random on the enemies war event, it was easy as hell, took seconds and he was down. Just git gud m8!
