that hated dude in skywatch public event is invincible!
We waited 40 minites and 3 players can't bring even the fking arc shield down. WTF? Any help ppl?
All u mofos trying to be a dick would like to know Im lv31 and shooting the shield with maxed fatebringer. It barely does anything.
Edit: Just did it with 6 players in the area. Looks like this is not a very soloable task
Final edit: Gees this post has been quite popular. Now here I figured out what is actually happening. He seems to be weaker on the warsat event. Invincible on the enemies moving against each other event. I hope this work for you looking to beat him for a pair of legen gloves from Eris.

Edited by asir: 12/14/2014 7:03:51 PMI solo'd him during the hive vs fallen war and I can tell you he's squishy as hell once you get his shield down. Use the fallen to your advantage as they will distract him and they have arc weapons

Two of my buddies took him down with 2 gjallarhorn rockets each. I took him down with maxed out corrective measure with a legit level 6 random, who happened to be roaming around for kills in Skywatch, helping me.

I solo'd him with 7 gjhorn rockets

What you need to do is lure him to a safe spot. If he spawns in the war he's hard as shit to take out, but lure him into one of those smaller buildings away from the war. If he spawns in the Warsat event, there's a building right by it you can lure him into. Use Arc damage, if you have Thunderlord he goes down relatively quickly. Did it once with 2, once solo.

Are you using arc weapons to knock his shield down? I took him down by myself with a 300 swarm. It wasn't that hard.

I put everything I had on him and his shield didn't budge, I died and respawned and he went down in seconds...there be something funny going on here

Once you get the shield down, he dies faster than a lvl 1 shank

I soloed him twice. I had a problem with shield regen as he would show up during the "enemies are moving against each other" event. I had to keep a DoT on him. After that it was gravy.

Big shield. Low health. Gjallahorned the shit out of this sucker.

I soloed him..... Use arc damage weapons. I died about 4 times before taking him down though..

Edited by The Inturned: 12/14/2014 5:44:38 PMIt was weird...I went in expecting it to be impossible. I was a level 30 lock and a random 27 was there was well. His shields dropped quick from the 27 and my nova bomb destroyed him. It took about 20 seconds. I was shocked.

There is definitely something odd going here, the guy spawns almost invincible at times and yet he falls apart with exactly the same weapons 20 mins later. It's random and infuriating as heck if you get him when he is running the un-breakable shield

Use arc for the shield then -blam!- him with a heavy weapon ( then shoot him with it).

I'm not trying to be "that guy," but I soloed him Friday morning with Murmur and grenades.

I unloaded a maxed Gjallahorn in him along with a almost maxed murmur and my brother was shooting him with his upgraded ice breaker and emptied his heavy in him. We could not even hurt him or pull his shields off the first 3 times and I know the second time we saw him her was at least 5 of us on him. I am guessing its a glitch like the yellow bar vandal in forgotten shores that can not be killed at times.
