Whats so good about Gjallahorn??
I always hear people talking about how'd they kill to have one or for xur to sell it. It was the first exotic I ever got and that was like thanksgiving week

Per shot, it delivers more damage to your enemies than any other gun in the game. It was largely believed that Dragon Breath would overthrow Gjallahorn as the strongest DPS gun in the gun until Bungie unveiled that we would be able to upgrade Gjallahorn to an equal playing field in terms of damage caps (with an update from Xur, or a post-DLC drop, Gjallahorn now maxes out at a damage rating of 331). TL;DR: It's the most powerful gun in the game in terms of DPS.

Use it on the Shriekers in the new raid. It's like a cheese, only legit. G'horn is a monster.

It does more than twice as much damage as the next best thing. (Ice breaker)

1 ReplyIt's a great PvE weapon with its high damage. Scrubs use it in PvP for easy kills as they lack the skill to put in a big killstreak using a more effective machine gun.
