We are Guardians, but don't you sometimes feel we really aren't defending anything. Well after the recent urn missions, and the world event it gave me an idea. SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE not completed the Urn missions. So in the world event where we have to defeat Urzak, we came across two armies of Fallen and Hive figthing it out. My thought let's use this style of World event in a slightly different place. How about when you start a patrol, you begin at a F.O.B. (forward operating base) The guardians are starting to reestablish a presence in the solar system so it makes sense they would have small outpost setup. Maybe just a wall with some mounted turrets with some npcs manning them. (Have them just shooting out into the distance for ambience) maybe even have a vendor selling ammo synths. Now for that area have the world event be an attack on the base. Steadily getting harder mobs, until maybe a general comes out to meet you. Just like the Urzak fight. You get gold tier if you kill the general. Now I also had a thought of maybe a horde mode. Story maybe the speaker announces there is a breech into the city. The guardians are dispatched to "plug" the gap. Hold the line until the wall can be repaired. My be add an escort like mission, where you try to help wayward citizens get back to safety. We all want to be defenders of humanity. Have some objective like hold the actual breech, defend the civilian crane operator etc etc.

I need help from anybody that has gotten husk of the pit. I have killed the blade of Crota in the "fist of Crota" mission 83 times and still have not gotten gun. From what I have seen in videos that is the easiest way to get it. If anybody has any advice I would appreciate it.

Still waiting for factions to accept my vanguard marks as currency. You have a lot of pve players that still play and hate being forced into crucible just to acquire the one piece of faction gear they want. You can earn faction rep either way, so why can't you buy faction gear either way? Makes no sense.

Then comes "YOUR STORY SHOULD BE MORE LIKE HALO" (No, it shouldn't) "YOUR GEAR SYSTEM SHOULD BE MORE LIKE WoW" (No, It shouldn't) "YOUR PVP SHOULD BE MORE LIKE CoD" (And Finally. No, it shouldn't) Destiny should be Destiny, and thats it. This is why most games on the market are garbage retreads. Because this generation of gamers hates change. Its amazing how many of these people complaining about being "undersold" a product, were happy to pay over 300 dollars over the life of the CoD series for nothing more than a reskin of the same engine with minor alterations to game mechanics. You talk out of both ends of your mouths. On one side you say "This $20 doesnt provide enough content" then when they utilize that content in weekly strikes you scream "HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" I paid for the DLC and So I am really happy with the fact that I got to do something other than the Arkon Priest for the 3rd time in a nightfall. Its refreshing. But Seriously, its $20 dollars. That barely buys half a tank of gas anymore. A 90 minute movie with popcorn and a soda is $20.00. I found what they offered at that price point to be fair and worth the price of admission. If you didn't thats ok, you made the decision not to buy it. But thats it, turn and hit the door Jack. We dont care you didnt get your way. I have personally enjoyed destiny. I like a game like dark souls, that gets out of its own way with story. I dont need this game to have a story, I need this game to entertain me. And it does that. If you are that desperate for a story, go watch a movie or read a book. Not every game has to have a stalwart story to be good. And its not like you wont bitch if the story ends the way you dislike it (See Mass Effect). Its not a perfect game, its not the best game I have ever played, but its alot of of fun. The hate has simply gone to far.

See way send one spider tank for a public event we kill it 2 fast send 3. random tanks would be even sweeter to not even for public events A Archon priests guy fireteam or a horde of ogres mix it a strike where you go through all the areas of the planet with wars going on on each field . we need random Surprises not the same guys in the same place new that spawn after you kill them and new breeds like fallen knights or wizards, hive worm tanks or hive drills reanimated guardians for the vex new random enemy's. on another note make all the caves on all the planets connect it would be a maze the best part of Vog was the tunnels add enemies to that and you got sweet a shop so we can change your characters look or just hair and make up . A trading post to sell guns that you don't want or armor you don't need New areas on all the planets not even part of any expansion. im Titan but I would love to have the hunters grenades even if it cost me twenty five thousand glimmer 2times to substitute one of my grenades in my class for that one or the Warlocks blast. remember New is better change is good and randoms the best
