I am having similar problems but I have gotten the mote of light as well as some planets since the update. My guess for the planets is to redo the first mission (and go to the burning circle for mercury) and see if that unlocks it. as for mote of light try putting them in your vault(at least one more time after reading this comment just to humor me) and taking it back out again. This is just an idea I don't know if that's what actually did it for me. I feel like I'm missing quite a few and wish there was some sort of guide if anyone can direct me in that direction it would be greatly appreciated .
