It's intended for people to share their creations (fan art, cosplays, etc.), meet up with other people and discuss their interests and hobbies beyond gaming, and get to know people better. #Recruitment was created so people can find others to play with so that the entire site/app isn't flooded with LFG posts (which everyone seems to treat as a form of matchmaking by making a post and hoping the people will flock to them instead of actively searching for others). General discussion of Destiny belongs in #Destiny. Constructive complaints and arguments or general suggestions for the game belong in #Feedback. Problems with the game, site, and/or app belong in #Help. Discussion of the developer belongs in #Bungie. Discussion of non-Destiny games and the gaming industry belong in #Gaming. If it doesn't fit anywhere else and is just plain random it belongs in #Off topic.
