That's stupid, one week where people who didn't buy DLC can't do Nightfall has people crying? Really? I just find that kind of sad. I didn't read your whole post, though, since I assumed much of it would be as stupid as the first bit.
EDIT: I'm saying the OP is a stupid person, just that this idea is not reasonable. I read the rest of the post also, and found it was only slightly better than I had thought. There aren't even any good arguments... Do you really think Bungie will work more for the people who refuse to pay them any more?
Also, flamers, please shut up. I honestly can't believe you guys take offense from something even the OP shouldn't have taken offense from. Everybody has less than likely ideas once in a while, if people seriously act like this every time they share one of their stupid ideas, it's really pretty sad. I'm done with you guys.

Name calling aside, you are correct. Thet want Bungie to continue the same material they complain is repetitious but won't fork up $20. I preordered and love it. Played the new Nightfall and it was fun. Bungie doesn't have to do it your way. You can stop now after your 300 hours you already played. You got more than $60 worth of entertainment. Find more value somewhere else? Good for you. Don't think another $20 isn't worth it? Fine, move on. There are other games out there for you. Sure they are more perfect than Destiny. Me, I will keep on playing and await DLC 2.

Exactly, I don't understand what all these people getting pissed at me are thinking. I doubt any of them would like to have to work overtime to make people who won't pay them any more happy... You already get upgraded exotics and legendaries, but less than once a month they can't get it and there are tons of these people who for some reason fill the forums with this kind of thing... I just think that's stupid, not the OP, everyone has stupid ideas once in a while. And after reading the rest, I found it wasn't worth it, there were no reasonable arguments.

Also, if you don't want any new content you'd be fine just getting out-dated exotics from the playlist thing, which I guess could happen, maybe. But you're already able to get updated exotics and Ledgendaries without paying as well as do the majority of the Nightfalls, so I really don't see any reason you guys have to be begging for this.

He is asking for a SEPARATE PLAYLIST. One for the people without the DLC. This means he wants to continue doing the SAME STRIKES AS BEFORE. He is NOT asking for the new strikes. So, what do you believe is the harm in that, or as you so maturely put it "stupid?" Go ahead, try to say that this post is wrong. I have provided you with solid feedback. So please, provide me with the answer as to why u think this is stupid.

Listen, even if he is doing the same strikes as before, the rewards would be new content. Less than once a month that people who don't want to pay Bungie for any more of their work can't get the new content they already got for free and you expect Bungie to work extra to cater to you? Do you seriously think that sounds like a good idea? And I can't stand arguing with children who can't listen to reason, it's pointless. Plus your "reasoning" really isn't reasoning. He provided no reasons for Bungie to put extra time and effort into making a new playlist that only matters less than once a month for the people that don't want to pay them any more.

I don't support the name calling but I think the guy however stupidly he put it does raise an interesting point. Would making separate playlists for people equate to more work on bungies part?. I don't know enough about code to answer. but if as a company they are trying to progress players through a story (or lack of:))and they have to keep spending resources on people who don't want to progress wouldn't that hurt the game as a whole?...I honestly don't know enough about what kind of resources it takes to pull this stuff off to make an educated decision either way...but I feel with the limited knowledge I have that bungie are not in the wrong here. I think it's cool everyone can still get the great gear...anyways love to hear from someone with knowledge about what it takes to keep nightfalls going:)

Now, I don't have access to Bungie's code, but I did post an example of how to keep one database table and be able to support all current and future variations of content packs having their own playlists. And it lets playstation users have their exclusive strikes as a weekly/nightfall as well.

I don't believe it is difficult in the same way the would do it for the new crucible maps. I understand your thought process on forcing players to move forward and I may agree with you if they did it a year later and not 3 MONTHS! Thank you for your reasonable response though.

The point is possum that there are more respectable ways of disagreeing with someone's idea. The way you did it was by trying to insult the original posters intellect instead of trying to use reason to challenge his commentary. Why are you surprised that it garnered the response it did?
