Alright, I've been noticing more and more that were getting the same repetative topics over and over and over. Skulls, the Scarab gun, Sword Flying, the Giant Soccor Ball, well this is a big list of them all. Hopefully this will eliminate some of the same topics, thus clearing up New Mombasa of [some] useless threads. Ok. To start it off, I'll use what I think is the most popular repeat thread- Skulls. Skulls- The Skulls are little things added to Halo 2 by Bungie. In appearance they are excatly like the Skull used in the Gametype Oddball, and behave the same way. When you pick one up, you can melee people with it using the B button, and drop it using the right trigger. However, where to find them and they affects they have are a totally different story. Some are hidden in near impossable to reach spots, others are somewhat easier. The effects vary from removing your HUD, to explosive headshots. These are pretty fun to use, but you have to turn your Xbox off and on to get things working back to normal. (List of Skulls farther down page) Note: The Theory stating that after all skulls have been collected in a certain order something will happen has officially been pronounced incorrect by Bungie! I haven't seen this for myself, but I have seen video clips of it and it is quite a sight. It is lcated on a very distant skybridge in the level Metropolotis, which required the use of a banshee and exellant timing. It is a Plamsa Rifle in every exception but the energy it fires. Normally, you pick up a Plasma Rifle and fire, and measly little dots of white-blue plasma come out, correct? Well when you pick up this bad boy, it fires the Scarab's main cannon! Same rate of fire, same handling, same everything except the payload it delivers. Sounds awesome, but seems a little too hard to get for my liking. To do this simply get in the passenger seat of a Warthog with the Energy Sword, lock on to a passing Banshee or Phantom Cannon. Then when you get out, you will be hurled in the direction in which you were pointing when you exited the 'Hog. It's pretty cool, but the Nexus of invisable walls in Campaign can make it quite frustrating at some points. The Giant Soccer Ball- I don't know too much about this one, except that it behaves just like a Soccer Ball... a very very big Soccer Ball, and is found in the level Metropolotis.
