So if I am a level 30 is there any point in getting this gear?

For now I say just buy the weapons. The well balanced ARs are no more unless you get the new monarchy one.

Yes, it will get you to lvl 31.

But raid gear will get you to 32 so why waste all of that time and materials for gear you are going to have to throw away with the normal raid only needing you to be a level 30.

Um...Goodluck getting through the hard raid at 30...unless you have dudes carrying you through it....

I wasn't talking about the hard raid. I can wait for the hard raid until i know what the heck I am doing in the normal raid.

In that case, you could probably pass on it. As long as you don't mind depending on luck in the normal raid for the raid gear. It's an easy way for people to get to lvl 31 a little quicker and without depending on raid drops.

With a 100 mark cap it's not that quick

I guess the term 'quick' was used becau5of my experience which obviously won't match everyone else's. I had 150 marks saved up with vanguard rank 3. I bought new boots and gauntlets 15 minutes after the dlc dropped. :-/
