[BUNGIE] Unable to access the Expansion content? Please check here for more details
We have received reports from players that are unable to access the Expansion content. We have provided some FAQ below, and will add more as needed.
[b]I still receive an Expansion Required message, but I already own the Expansion content:[/b]
Please ensure that the Expansion content is fully downloaded, as sometimes downloads are stuck in a queue and do not install automatically. We suggest that you restore your licenses to ensure that everything has downloaded properly. Please follow the link for more information on how to restore licenses on your console. http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181
If that does not resolve your issue, please restart your console and relaunch Destiny.
[b]I purchased the Expansion from a retailer and when I entered the code it didn’t unlock the Expansion content:[/b]
Some retailers will credit your XBL or PSN account with a dollar value rather than unlocking the Expansion content. Please check your PSN or XBL store and verify that you have either a) received the Expansion or b) received a credit to purchase the Expansion. If you have verified that you have received credit in the amount of the Expansion, simply purchase the Expansion and begin your download.

2 RepliesEdited by sleepymuggs33: 9/17/2015 12:24:19 PMSo, my experiment to delete and re-download the entire game and all patches and add-ons has failed (a full 17+ hours of downloading). Back to square one. To clarify, I have, AGAIN, done the following: - checked all available add-ons - they are showing up as installed, incl TTK - restored all licenses - cleared cache - not a "region" issue - deleted the whole game, then downloaded all game files, app data, and updates, and just this morning logged in to the same thing, no differences My welcome screen when I start the game IS the TTK screen. If I try and navigate to any TTK content, I get the "Requires Taken King" - which, upon click, brings me to the pop-up to Enter Code, or Purchase one of two offers. as well as watch the trailer. Not sure what to try next. IS this a lost cause, Bungie? Is it chase-a-refund and go the COD route for my gaming? I am not going to play the crippled content you've left behind after launching TTK. Or is there some idea of what this is, some fix, some HELP from you guys coming? I won't wait weeks. I've already waited days, and I'm not sure how many more you're going to get from me. Additional EDITS: FYI - Destiny Collector's Edition Digital Content Pack ($60) is what I purchased the first week in August - on PS4 - acquired preorder from Gamestop. This does show up as bought and paid in my PSN account. I was playing all other add-ons (HoW, DB, last week's pr-TTK) and rec'd the ship, banner updates, etc. with no issues from my Content Pack purchase. So I know it worked, no questions my initial purchase was completed.

In the "Manage game" page I have Destiny, both season expansions, vanguard armory, expansion pack and pass, and Suros Arsenal Weapon Pack. When i'm opening Destiny:Taken King page in the store it says "Installed" but the content of this item is Suros Weapon Pack... It seems that only weapon pack was downloaded when I was installing Destiny:Taken King. I tried to reinstall but nothing changes. Destiny asks me to buy TTK and if I choose "Purchase" it says that I already got it. UPD. I contacted Xbox support yesterday and we tried to resolve the issue for about 30 minutes. At last I received an answer that they contacted Bungie and got an answer that it's a Bungie bug.

All the topics are covered with highlighted 360 problems. The gamer's problem is that you are sitting near the console trying to launch Destiny: TTK content and wasting time. It would be good to receive some feedback and not to spend time waiting for the game to work. Something like "We will fix it during this week. Don't even try to launch the expansion earlier."

Tuesday I also bought the Digital Collectors Edition-Upgrade (https://store.playstation.com/#!/de-de/spiel/extras/digitales-collector's-edition-upgrade/cid=EP0002-CUSA00568_00-DESTINYTTKCEUPGR) It said with the purchase you get three exotic items, gestures and shaders along with two weapon packages. The upgrade is listed as downloaded and installed but there are still no additional items in the game that i can collect somewhere. What is going wrong? Looking forward to your answer.

50 RepliesI just bought The Taken King: Legendary Edition and it comes with a code which says that it would allow me to access content from Expansion 1 and 2 of Destiny. After entering the code, I seem to only able to play The Taken King missions and not the expansion missions like fist of crota. P.S Before getting this legendary edition, I already had destiny but without both the expansions. Please Help

I have done the story line with both my warlock and hunter with no problem. Im doing it with my titan and after the mission "the promethean code" i cant proceed! I cant get the mission i need after that "promethean" quest, its just stops there. Im light lvl 218 and lvl 40 with the titan and CANT even go to the dreadnaught. What shall i do?

The digital download of The Taken King on Xbox One says "Unavailable" even though I own and have installed both expansions packs 1 and 2, as well as own and have installed the expansion pass itself. And Destiny is fully up to date and recently played. Also I have noticed that the title screen of my Destiny game says "The Taken King" followed by "Press A to Play" when I don't have that expansion yet.

So if u bought a physical copy of TTK, the code to unlock the content isnt on the disk, it is actually on a piece of paper inside the case....... Had to go to gamestop to get that info

8 RepliesHi again Bungie. I followed your steps which you said to try manually install the dark below and House of Wolves pack from the playstore but to no avail. It wants to charge me for the content which I should have gotten free from the legendary edition I bought at my local game store. I have tried restoring license and still nothing. I really hope you guys can help us out coz from what I'm seeing, there's a whole lot of us facing this problem. I paid good money for me to have access to the whole game but currently, I can only access ttk only. Please help Bungie.

1 ReplyI'm having an issue on Ps3. I have both prior dlc and cannot purchase TTK standalone dlc. Both prior dlc were purchased on the same console with different psn accounts. We didn't have any issue with both accounts playing either content as they are on the same console that both dlc is on. Would love to play but I'm told the standalone is "unavailable for purchase".
