That's the problem, all that crap in the raid and for what? Replaced by vendor items. Way to go. That's how you handle dlc. Reset the system and now you pay 20 dollars to hit level 32.

This is what happened with new expansions in MMO's. Old gear becomes obsolete. The VoG gear has buffs for that Raid. Since VoG is the old raid now, that gear is replaced by Vanguard/Crucible gear and Crota's End gear. Either adapt or intentionally leave yourself behind.

Thats how an mmo works. You hit the cap amd then you are the strongest for the time being. Then new content comes out and you have to do it again. Its noting new. And its not like you can immediately hit level 31 you have to grind your vanguard level for commendations and then it will take a few weeks to get the amount of marks needed. Its not like they are handing it to you. And also you dont need the dlc to get the new vanguard armor

I played mmos for a majority of my life. Never have I seen one completely abandon a previous dungeon. Each one still had to be gone through for progression. This? Someone who just got this game doesn't even need to step into the vault of glass. How can you not see the difference.

Are you kidding me you obviously have not played mmos what do you think happens in World of Warcraft when a expansion is released? All the gear they got from doing mythic raids is easily replaced from quests. What did you do? Cheese the VoG to get your gear and now complain that the gear doesn't matter anymore? You obviously haven't played an mmo

I played Korean grind fests. Games that appealed to people at end game, not numb nuts who pay to win. you can only reference world of war craft. Do you realize there are hundreds of mmos out there? Some even release expansions for free. Wow right?

If you say that you have played mmos as you say you have then you would understand that every time a expansion is released your previous gear will be easily replaced

True. However, the guys who just got the game, still need to go through all the same sets I had too to reach the new stuff. Not jump straight to holy crap, I'm here already. For an expansion, it just feels like it's done nothing but reset a whole system and the games been out 3 months. This isn't the annual wow expansion. I'm going to play it and grind my way to 32, cause I paid for this on launch, but I won't be pre ordering destiny 2. I expected a new planet with an "expansion ". Whatever, I expect too much from bungie nowadays

The vault of glass drops after the DLC should have definitely been upped to the stats of tower vendor gear to keep people playing that raid...RIP VoG
