being forced to play pvp

i can't trade items found on patrol's for crucible mark's plus rep because of someone's bad judgement in the last update and even when over 100 players speak out on the forums about it five days and no reply from a single admin so i'm going to the help section cause it says let us help you so here's my problem fix it by not telling me to play crucible cause i hate each game type in pvp i'm very happy with pve if you force me to play pvp just give me my money back if not fix it so me and others don't have to play pvp for the marks and rep thank you. Also the devil you know is just a stand in for crucible items so quit correcting already.stop telling me what faction the weapon is its a damn mettafor.

    • The real problem is without being able to turn farmable items in for marks, there is no way to buy any items from NM, DO or FWC requiring Crusible marks and commendations, without playing in Crusible to get the marks. If you're not a PvP fan, this leaves you with one main weapon/armor vendor to Crusible's 4 vendors. Seems uneven. I could rank Dead Orbit and buy items without playing Crusible before, by turning in farmables for Crusible marks. Now, you are just wasting time by ranking NM, DO and FWC if you don't play Crusible. Why take the 3 factions away from PvE? What purpose does that serve? I don't care for any responses. They aren't needed to see how dumb that move was.

        • Yea dumbest idea ever, i now have hundreds of useless materials clogging up inventory space ... Why would anyone want to spend hard earned marks on materials that you can pick up of the ground ??? dont know why they had to swap the option, just add in the option, trade should go both ways ... Now also less reason to be out on patrol, get sick of doing NOT SO public events by myself ... And for someone like myself who is not so keen on PVP, the future war cult, new monarchy and dead orbit are now DEAD USELESS ... Do other people feel the same way ??? I really hope they bring the option back...

        • There is no requirement to ever set foot in the crucible, if you do not want to.

You get marks from playing pve as well. So no, you aren't forced to do anything. No one is holding you at gun point and forcing you. Depending on who you talk to depends on the marks taken. You can buy gear with vanguard marks so stop.
