How did you get into Sniping?
How did you become a Sniper?
Was it in Destiny or in a game before this? Are you still working on your sniping skills or have you mastered the craft? How did you get started and where are you with it now?

I enjoy sniping but there are so many obvious obstacles put into the crucible maps that purposely block sniping. Leaving only a few decent spots...that most people know to avoid if there's a sniper. Bummer imo

Counter strike for PC games. Before that, I practiced it in real life for competitions.

COD MW2 Intervention. Took time to adjust (obviously) to Destiny and I'm doing alright but I don't use it much.

Ever since my first time playing halo 3 split screen with my friends. I remember we were playing sand trap, they both took a warthog and were driving on the outside of the map and I was in the dead center. So I took out my sniper, lined up my shot, and boom headshot. I stopped playing for a while so I'm not as good as I used to be in FPS's but I used to be able to hit literally anything at any range.

Cod4 mw The 50 cal was awesome but the R700 taught me to take my time and really snipe.

Unreal Tournament, CTF-Face. One asteroid, two bases. Ten thousand headshots.

Does MW2 quickscoping count? My friend taught me a few years ago, and then I decided to start sniping in halo. And i've been living it ever since.

1 ReplyUnreal Tournament on capture the flag mode. My roommate would get the flag and the other tram would get to see their heads pop as they tried to chase him. Good times. Of course I'm really dating myself with that one. We're talking like 1999.

As a PvE focused player.... and a solo player... no other class of special weapon comes close. I go plink. They go die. The shot was never heard. But the blood splatters the wall. I am sniper. You will never hear me roar.

I did suprisngly well came out 20 and up kills close range with barely over 5 deaths a game (with no camping). Then I put it down and my kd dropped significantly i should start using my newly obtained patience and time more often. Other than that I've always been a sniper in just about every game that has one

Mw2. My intervention was my entire life. Ever since I am in love with any one shot kill. Am so excited for no land beyond. Taking me back to world at war. Haha
