Why are you jumping into the Raid straight away???
If the new Raid is the conclusion to the DLC's story, why are a lot of you jumping into it straight away, won't the whole point of it be lost on you?

It would be cool to finish first but I know that won't happen for me because I have to work Wednesday morning at 7. Not saying ppl don't have a life someone could've planned ahead like I should have. But oh well I'll do the story and strike first

1 ReplyI may be wrong, but I believe you have to play the story to get this raid unlocked because it's part of the story line. So it may not be the first thing you can complete. I've read it several time it other articles. (That I can no longer find)

It's all in the Grimoire. Almost nothing is explained in the game itself. Besides, I want a new challenge.

Not planning on raiding right away. It'll take too much to figure out all the puzzles. I'll wait until someone else completes it and tells me all about it so I only take a couple hours in there instead of blowing 15 hours on it. GG. I do care for the story too. Ever since I've played the Hive Branch Story of Destiny I've known that we would get to kill Crota in this expansion. Let's gooooooooooo!

The story sucks so really not worried about that...we are trying to get a top 20 completion. Also raid gear is the only way to hit 32

race to be #1 team to beat raid. and destiny has no story and bragging rights when I am first to hit lvl 32 :) and find all the secret areas :)

I'll be playing the story mode then the strike and then finally the raid - I really feel that the raid will not be working or available on launch day - Loads of people downloading/attempting to connect/joining fireteams - servers will melt.

3 RepliesI can't even do the Raid until Saturday at the earliest due to work and finals. During that time, though, I'll probably do some story missions. I'm almost certain the story rewards us with a weapon or consumable that makes the Raid a little easier.
