Hey DeeJ,
Just wanted you to know that i think you're doing a great job. Being the communicator to the players is tough and I can only imagine how hard it has been these past few weeks. I love this game and for the most part you guys are heading in the right direction! Keep up the good work.
Also the new DLC looks awesome and I'm super excited for No Land Beyond! I'm not looking forward to the grind but being a sniper player, I was really happy that you guys put this exotic in the game! Anyways take it easy DeeJ, don't stress over all of these whiny posts. You guys brought us Halo and I know you're new to this genre of being a pseudo mmo but I trust you guys and you DeeJ. You seem to listen and care, and I really just wanted to thank you. Mistakes can/will be made along the but in the end you guys will get it right. Thanks DeeJ! And bungie for that matter.
EDIT: After reading some of the replies and realizing just how toxic this community is I have decided DeeJ is not deserving of this hell. we must free him

10 RepliesWrong. Most of the people who were behind Halo stayed with 343. I was originally fooled into thinking this game would be THE GAME of next gen because of what Bungie did for Xbox (and vise-versa) with Halo. However, I was recently informed that 343 took a lot more of Bungie's team than what they led on. This is part of the reason why Bungie needed to hire more staff to make this game. While it may be difficult for us to separate Bungie and Halo, it is appropriate as they are no where near the same group that made a console-defining game in the days of old. The original story writer for Destiny was also nixed in the final year of development (after 4-5 years on the team). This game will be a black mark on Bungie's record in the next gen if they don't clean up their act by the time House of Wolves comes out. Yes, TDB will be cool and will add some story elements but we won't get the full game we payed for until HOW comes out. I mean, how can a company already have names and images of their DLC AT LAUNCH? That makes no sense, unless they came up with the content of each and decided not to include it in the game upon release.

5 RepliesSeeing as I've spent almost more than 7 days (a smidgen of the amount that a lot of other play), I'd say it's definitely worth the money... Most games are over in a day or less, and while this story was over in that time (about 12 hours is my longest run, I also spent about an hour and a half farming on each planet before I actually got to the meat of the first mission) the community play is what makes this game so unique. I have yet to play a console game that has even the slightest hint of MMO in it's story, and Bungie took the first step to do so. Very impressive, and it also explains a lot of the unforeseen problems that Bungie has fixed as quickly as they could. Thumbs up DeeJ for taking all the garbage and still putting up with us. Thanks.

I couldn't agree with this more. I feel I definitely got my money out of this game. It's kept me hooked for months and I'm really excited about the DLC. Thanks DeeJ & Bungie.
