Vex Mythoclast and Raid Gear should be guaranteed... or should they?
Don't you hate it when you put hard hours into raiding in order to acquire raid gear or the ultimate raid gun and you get to the end and drum roll please.... YOU DON'T GET IT! Because of this countless level 29's are stuck indefinitely and unable to reach level 30 which shouldn't happen imo. If you've played the raid multiple times than raid gear or your gun depending on the level of the raid should be guaranteed! No one should be stuck at 29 because of a lack of raid gear and if you've played the vault on hard more than 3 times and you still don't have a mythoclast than it's about freaking time you got one! I think high end raid rewards should automatically be given to you if you've played the raid on the designated difficulty. What do you guys think?

Took me over 20 clears to reach 30. It was very frustrating being stuck at level 29 week after week. Still no mythoclast either. Some are lucky, some are not

Hard Mode should at least guarantee Legendary. Shards and a speeder that's worse than the free speeder that does flips is a joke.

There should be a guaranteed drop of armor, but not guns. Grinding for guns is acceptable but grinding for level 30 to be accepted isn't acceptable

Then what would be the enjoyment going in with the best equipment?

It shouldn't be guaranteed, but you shouldn't be getting the same damn piece of raid gear 3-4 times. There should be a larger chance to get raid armor you don't currently have, but keep weapon drops as they are now.

3 RepliesMost I've seen that are stuck at 29 have had less than ten completions. If you don't have 15 completions I don't care. Of you have more than that...I still don't care. There are ways to get it. Do the damn raid. Everyone wants it handed to them.

I want the vex to remain hard to get so those with it can feel like they accomplished something blaming awesome. I don't have it yet but when I do I want to feel a part of elitist player who own it.

I answered yes. At least one different piece of raid gear should be guaranteed. I -blam!-ing hate running the raid and getting boots for the fourth time. As for the mythoclast, it should not be guaranteed.

Yes. Because in the next update people will be level 30 just like that. There handing out gear. Just so everyone else doesn't feel "left out". So people should be handed a vex too.

3 RepliesEvery time you beat the raid 100% your next raid should have a significant increase to drop rate. Deters checkpointing, promotes and rewards completionism.

I voted no. But I think every time u do the raid u get something u do not have yet. So ur getting the vex and armor it's just not guarenteed. Just so people experience the loot System and testing your luck

1 ReplyHow about receiving 2x garanteed VoG "token" for every hard boss defeated (templar, gatekeepers, atheon) and 1x garanteed VoG "token for every normal boss defeated once per week (for a max total of 9 "tokens" per character per week) where you can trade in those tokens to create the raid gear you need (with random stats if it's armor) instead? Those tokens could remain character exclusive (can't put it in the vault) to prevent cheesing from level 19 to 20 and then directly to 30 by hoarding those "tokens".

I honestly don't think that it should be guaranteed even though I'm still a 29 missing that one piece of raid gear.

1 ReplyI think any weapon or armor should be guaranteed. Not necessarily the vex, but any exotic or raid weapon is fair game. Because yes, nothing is more heartbreaking than a shitterwhite and 3 shards.

Good thing they stated raid drops will have a much higher chance of dropping in the new raid.

I would think the Necrochasm is designed to replace the Suros Regime. Better gear will come with the hard raid in January to replace the Mythoclast. I've seen a bunch of the new guns in action and in quite impressed with some of them and not to mention easier to get. Once everyone gets in the swing with the new raid we will move on

The vex is the only gun that can be classified as a true "exotic".

I've played over 240 hours with my hunter was the 1st out my group to be level 29 and now I'm the last out of us to reach level 30 I still enjoy this game a lot and can't wait till Tuesday for the new content and hopefully breaking my #forever29 tag I've accumulated
