Best headset for ps4?

Before you go buy the Sony gold's, look up some reviews elsewhere. They have a terrible reputation for bad microphone quality. They sound good to the user, but they punish everyone you talk to. I personally use turtle beach P12's. They're not bad at all, and they're about half the price of the Sony headset. If you dont hate your friends, I would recommend them. If you like hearing your friends say "what?" all day, go with the gold's.

The Sony wireless gold headset worked and sounded great for me, for about 6 weeks. Then I started noticing little cracks all along the front edge of the top band, after about a week the whole thing split right in half. Called Sony and they had me send them in to see if they could be warrantied, the customer service guy said it sounded like it was my fault, and told me if they were found to have been neglected they wouldn't replace. Well after a week they sent me a brand new headset, so I'm assuming it wasn't just a one off thing, or else they woulda just told me I'm sol.

3 RepliesI got a set of the Sony Pulse Elites on black Friday for $100 bucks. They are just awesome with the PS4 and only require plugging in the usb dongle that comes with them. 7.1 virtual surround, game and chat audio, bass boost, 6 sound modes, 15hour playtime on a full charge, and they are fairly comfortable for long game sessions. Plus they are made for the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita.

You can plug any headphones into the PS4 controller and have all the audio output to it (including netflix) if the headphones have a mic that works as a mic too.

Not gunna lie but the wires on my standard ones got in the way because of the length and width of the cord thats how they broke

I like my golds a lot. Seems most everyone who has them does as well. Haven't tried anything else though.

I would say the gold headset if you can find a good deal which I'm sure you can this time of year, I like mine, but you cant go wrong investing in a nice astro headset

2 RepliesI use turtle beach XP7 and love them, theyre comfortable, the sound quality is great and Ive found their customer service to be exceptional.
